Okay I've been away for a while, and it seems that the way comments in threads are organized has been changed. Now they no longer seem to be in order. The most recent comment isn't the last one on the last page. I've seen it be in the middle.
If I get a notification of new posts in a thread and click on the link, then I can see the latest post, but I can't scroll up to see the rest of the thread. The samme happens when I just jump directly from a forum to the last post in any thread. But then I can use to index above to view other comments individually, but not the whole thread at a time.
In an old but recently bumped thread, I was looking for one of my comments. There was the icon that I had a post in the thread, and I could also remember the comment. I looked through all three pages of that thread and didn't find my comment. Then I searched the thread for one of the words I remembered using, and managed to find my comment. That was weird
I just feel pretty stupid now.:1orglaugh
It feels like I'm completely new to the internet and forums. I just cannot figure it out.
I'm assuming that the changes are due to it being better and more logical now. I just cannot seem to figure it out. It just seems so illogical and confusing now.
Could anyone please help me out about how this system works? It would make it much easier for me to browse through threads with a lot of comments.
