Thor is coming!

Great another comic book movie, I haven't seen a decent one in a long time.

I wish a studio (or 4) would pool $300 million for a single film, whack as many superheros/villains in there and make it the biggest, loudest, explosion-fest ever - instead of lame individual films, sorry, but I hated all the Spiderman films, Superman films, Ghost Rider, the last 3 Batman films and more.

Bluntman & Chronic - that I would see!

actually blade trinity is better than anything wwe has put out. i saw the marine on cinemax the other day. :1orglaugh

I haven't seen any of WWE's films and won't bother as bad as Raw and Smack Down are right now.

It's funny that you mention Triple H because that is exactly who Marvel is trying to get for Thor. The director wants someone else (I forget who) but Marvel wants Triple H. If they do get him I hope he's better than he was in Blade Trinity. I remember him with the dog and I just cringe.

I thnk a good Thor would be the muscle dude lifeguard that was in Howard Stern's "Son of the Beach". I believe his name is Roland Kickinger and he is Austrian Born and was a former body builder like Schwarznegger.

He should be able to voice a Norwegian accent for the role.

Peace.

No Chance that they could get the guy who played Thor in that TV Hulk movie?

they gotta get james Woods to play loki.

Punisher.. not a bad flick. Totally changed the origin. Didnt have enough maturity for my tastes. Punisher is a dark, tortured dude. Punisher will hang you by your toes and blast you in the face in a heartbeat. The movie.. honestly wasnt awful by far. But Travolta? Roy Scheider? The russian guy fighting.. heh, that's classic punisher. A bit cheesy, but eh. Whatever.

Hey everyone, first post here. I've been just checking out the forum once in a while, but I decided I should post with this thread. My username, Publisher, is a joke from when one of my friends saw my username/screenname Punisher and thought it read Publisher.

Anyway, I liked the movie a lot. From what I heard from the director of Punisher 1 and Thomas Jane, they planned a much darker character for Punisher 2. Even though they are both gone from the sequel now, I hope that it will go in the same direction.

To address what you said- He wasn't really "dark" for most of the movie, because he wasn't The Punisher until the very end. It was also filmed in Tampa instead of New York because it was cheaper to do so, and he was moved from a 'Nam vet to a Gulf War vet so that the story would connect more with the younger age group watching it. And yes, The Russian was a comic character (Welcome Back, Frank series to be precise). They went with a lot of comic references, many from WBF but others as well, because they wanted to keep it fairly true to the comics. I know too much about Punisher...
