This could happen in the US if abortion is to be banned

9-Year-Old Girl Gives Birth in Mexico

Remember the good old days when 9-year-old girls couldn’t get pregnant? Well, that is no longer the case.

According to multiple reports, a 9-year-old girl in Mexico successfully gave birth to a daughter on January 27.

Authorities are currently looking for the 17-year-old boy who impregnated Dafne (the mother) when she was only 8-years-old. So far they have had no luck. Although there are still a lot of blanks to fill in, authorities from the state prosecutor’s office are filing this incident as “a rape or child sex abuse case,” according to Mirror News.

Both Dafne and her child, who was born a healthy 5.95 pounds at the Zoquipan Hospital in Jalisco, are believed to be at home and doing well after the birth. The hospital plans to do frequent and extensive checkups as a result of the mother’s young age.

Dafne isn’t the only young girl to become impregnated and give birth in recent times. Last year, a 10-year-old in Colombia also gave birth to a baby girl.

Today in Mexico, soon in the US ?

But I guess that little girls didn't had a "legitimate rape" 'cause, as todd Akin says, her body would have had "ways to shut the whole thing down".

Oh c'mon now.
Johan, most American people who are against abortion......in a moral way, do not want laws passed to make it illegal
Even if they did a law like that would never pass.
But the % of Americans who believe abortion should be made illegal is very small.

These are the 2 main problems most people have with abortion:
A- Late term abortion
B - GOV money, their tax money, going to pay for abortions.

And there is also the issue of a minor getting an abortion without the parents consent or knowledge.

That's bullshit. The GOP and TP are pushing to have all abortions banned.

John Boehner: Ending Abortion Is 'One Of Our Most Fundamental Goals This Year'

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/25/john-boehner-abortion-march-for-life_n_2552597.html

As hundreds of thousands of people braved sub-freezing temperatures in Washington, D.C., on Friday to join the anti-abortion protest March for Life, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) took the opportunity to reiterate his commitment to banning abortion in America for good.

Addressing the crowd at the National Mall via video broadcast, Boehner said it's time for anti-abortion activisits to "commit ourselves to doing everything we can to protect the sanctity of life." Step one, he said, is making permanent the Hyde Amendment, which prevents federal dollars from being used to pay for abortions except in cases of rape or incest.

"For the new Congress, that means bringing together a bipartisan pro-life majority and getting to work," Boehner said. "In accordance with the will of the people, we will again work to pass the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act, formally codifying the Hyde Amendment."

Boehner said he will make it a national priority to "help make abortion a relic of the past."

"Let that be one of our most fundamental goals this year," he said.

The March for Life attracted a diverse crowd of young and old protesters from across the country. Hundreds of parents had bundled up their infants and toddlers and strapped protest signs to their strollers. Michael Kennedy, 33, and his wife Bethany, who is pregnant, drove their four children down from Westerly, Rhode Island to stand in 20-degree weather on the Mall.

"They're troupers," Bethany told HuffPost. "We felt like we have a responsibility just to be a witness to everyone else, to see that this is life, our children. We needed to be here."

Several lawmakers made it out to the protest to address the crowd in person. Rep. Diane Black (R-Tenn.) touted a bill she recently introduced that would strip Title X family planning funds from Planned Parenthood, and Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) delivered a sermon that called for a "spiritual cleansing."

"Our nation is adrift, adrift in a wilderness where right and wrong have become subservient to a hedonism of the moment," Paul said. "I believe our country is in need of a spiritual cleansing."

He added, "We much preach a gospel so full of compassion, a gospel so full of justice that it cannot be resisted. Then and only then will the law again protect the innocent."

So that baby crying in that hospital in mexico right now should have been terminated when she was a "clump of cells" months earlier? When she grows up, graduates, falls in love, gets married and has children of her own I'm sure she'll have chills at the thought of her mother not having the choice.

2 of those 3 examples had to do with taxpayer funded abortion, not banning it.

Did ya'll miss the huge rallies in DC last week calling for Roe V Wade to be overturned, and the numerous politicans who agree with that idea?

It's NOT the majority opinion, which was proven during the election, but there are a lot of people who do feel that way, and what's scary is that a lot of them do have some power. An all-out ban would result in widespread protest, though. What theÿ're doing now, as far as ridiculous regulations and procedures that are basically torture for the mother, are just.."subtle"? enough to not have people in the street.

Don't get your panties in a bunch, 8yos aren't going to be forced to give birth here. I don't care how many nutty politicians introduce legislation. The collective people are smart enough to never let it happen.

Yeah, sure. And that' s why the 2nd most populated states in the US probably has the most pro-life governor of all America, a guy who claims that his state is the most pro-life State in the US and brags about it.

You can be 100% sure that, the very minute when Roe vs Wade would be overturn, Rick Perry will pass a bill to ban and criminalise all abortions in Texas.

Rick Perry is one crazy loon as are most Texans I have ever met.

I don't agree with Abortion unless it is for severe exceptional cases such as 1: Baby is going to die, 2: Woman is going to die, 3: There both going to die, 4: Rape.
But let's be honest hardly any baby is going to have a condition which will make them die before birth, Hardly any women die through child birth, even less chance of both of them dying and rape babies are very rare as well.
But the thing is most abortions are technically illegal because none of the above reasons occur. Also the above reasons are meant to be the only time abortions are allowed but everyone knows that anyone can get an abortion if they want one. Some people even have abortions because the babies are disabled or because they can't be arsed having a kid. I put it to them to wrap it up before they have sex with anyone. I man if your not using protection you'll be getting STDs as well. Why should a baby suffer just because of selfish arseholes?

But regarding rape.
Well of course that is an exception if Mitt Romney doesn't disagree with abortion there

What if she grows up to have a horrible life, and ends up committing suicide after an Adam Lanza type act? Life isn't always the best choice.

That being said, the more Mexicans the better. The 8 year old made the right choice in keeping her. Mexico is taking over North America, and people are enjoying life as a result.
