The Walking Dead on AMC

Why save the world, when you can rule it?
Even from my ass?

I think we have a cultural misunderstanding here; rat is Brit slang for pussy. (think fur).

Hence if you're ever in Britain on a friday night, expect to have a drunken group of lads shout either:
"Get your tits out love!"
or
"Get your rat out love!"
At you.

Maybe I'm sexually inexperienced & naeve, but surely 'tis impossible for one to eat a womans pussy out from her arse? Or did you mean from behind?
:hatsoff:

Strangely, it never works. I just don't understand women :dunno:

do you think theyll give an explanation as to what happened while deputy friendly was in a coma?
most zombie storys usually dont and also ive never read this walking dead comic.

and the biker guy handcuffed to the pipe.
he's a popular actor, i'll think we'll be seeing him again and maybe he'll redeem himself, or not.

and jane......especially from your ass
in fact, i insist.

Agreement level: 100%

Have you said that to your Greek girl?
See MPs post that I quoted above; deputy Friendly wasn't the only one to awake from a coma with severe wounds.

Nah, to be honest, I never did that - I got hit by the thunderbolt the moment I saw her and have been trying to be a good boy ever since :angels:

I hope not, it will just ruin it. I haven't seen any flashbacks so far, and I think they should keep it that way. Maybe someone could talk about it, but seeing it will ruin the narrative of the story.

There is no way they would build up a character that much to just kill him off.
Like you said, he's a reasonably well known actor. Plus, we saw the black dude knock off the bag, which threw a saw within reaching distance of Dixon. They wouldn't have put that in for no reason.
If the show was all about Zombies, it might get a bit tiresome. This way they have a human villain, slightly more dangerous and capable than a zombie, with a taste for revenge...

Ahh ok. I have never heard that before. I also do like it from behind. :D

I have now heard the third person feel sorry for the horse getting eaten recently. I love how zombies, who used to be living people with families, loved ones, friends and whatnot can get their heads bashed in by baseball bats or shot right in the head with their brains splattering all over the place, and folks are ok with it. People can even watch other living people be eaten by a group of zombies either alone (away from family, friends, loved ones, or close ones) or be eaten in front of their family, friends, loved ones, or close ones and no one still bats an eye to it.

One single horse gets eaten and people start showing their bleeding heart.

I have yet hear/read anyone feel sorry for the poor rat that was being eaten in the sewer by that one zombie in the second episode.

This is what I like about this particular zombie story. It makes it emotional on the zombie's part. Sure they are trying to kill and it is kill or be killed. However, zombies used to be people, that explains the ending of the first episode where the main character went back to the park to kill the zombie crawling out of her misery. No one deserves a life of that.

That is why you see in a good bit of zombie stories of any genre there is someones that says: kill him/her now because it will only be harder later.

When they are bit and inevitable to the point of having to put them down.

Basically a zombie is a human version of Old Yeller. Once you are infected, what will you do?

Honestly the horse bothered me, not the people getting killed. I guess because I am used to zombie shows and movies killing people, not animals. I don't like rats, so I didn't feel bad for the rat.

I did feel bad for the zombie in the park. She was missing half her body and looked sad.

rats are much cuter than horses...let alone the amount of meat, i'd definitely eat a horse over a rat...i'm curious to see if there will be any zombie animals...as for the empathetic zombie i'd have to say it was the wife/mother of the father and son grimes first met up with, she reminded me of someone with alzheimers (as in how you can see they recognize something but can also tell how they can't put together the what/why they recognize something)

i thought the part of the cop and asian boy walking among the dead was cool.
i never saw that in a zombie movie before.
i think i would have broke character.

new episode:
whats easier, sawing through a handuff chain, a 1/2 steel rod or your fucking wrist?
i dont get that.

zombie question:
can zombies talk?
can they understand language?
the only movie i saw them talk in was return of the living dead.
send more cops, paramedics and brains!

it doesnt make sense that they cant speak or understand, why would those abilities be lost?

I'm sorry sweetheart

Opening scene was great. I really felt for the guy. I'm curious why he didn't go for the saw earlier though.
