That can't be considered anything but a trial balloon (pun not intended).
So far, only unnamed sources have claimed he is seeking immunity.

I think the senate and House positions are just in response to the question of has or will it be granted.

Putting the world and our adversaries on notice that there is a new sheriff in town and he doesn't literally kowtow to them and figuratively fellatio them on a hot mic. Our enemies will now fear us more and our allies "pay their fair share" when it comes to their defense. NATO and that THAAD tho. Illegal border crossings from Mexico are down 75% (see new sheriff in town). He IS going to get that wall built and our compañeros in Mexico will end up paying for it. He is going after illegal alien gangs who shouldn't even be here. My 401K looks really nice. He's rolled back Obama regulations that stifle business. He's been graded an "F" on climate change which is actually the best grade you can get from those global warming cucks. And speaking of wall, this wall of text though. I could go on.

Ronald Reagan (peace be upon him ) was also despised by the left as being stupid and for having the quaint belief in American exceptionalism but when it's all said and done, Ronaldus Maximus was no Emperor of Mankind like we are blessed to have now.
