I'd argue that those people don't know what patriotism means any more than the ones who think it's a bumper sticker with a flag on it.

I agree, but I'm not a fan of either, especially the latter.
ACB just showed she's not fit for the supreme court by not being able to say which 5 freedoms are protected by the first amendment. Republicans want her to spend the rest of her life interpreting the constitution and she doesn't even know what's in it!

trump's continued descent into total meltdown was fun today. Calling Fauci, quite likely the most popular government employee in the country right now, an idiot and a disaster, confessing at a rally to attempting to extort oil company ceos for campaign money in exchange for exploration permits (after saying he could totally raise a ton more money you guys, he just doesn't want to!), then losing his shit on reporters for asking him about his covid tests that are still being kept hidden.
