Well, it is fascinating, to watch the political parties in your country, especially the currently ruling one, the Trump WH collects direct crimes and just morally and politically vicious acts, and see, how far each GOP elected representative, is going to decide he will carry on standing by Trump, and when it is time to jump ship, to cut losses, when the Swamp Rat-in chief is going to fall.

Whistleblower complaint involves 'multiple acts' by Trump, report says – as it happened

Reports say complaint involves ‘promise’ Trump made during a phone conversation with a foreign leader – get the latest live

Updated evening news summary

Wrapping up tonight’s political coverage with an updated summary of today’s political news. There’s a lot going on.

First, the latest on emerging details about a complaint about the president from within the intelligence community:

The whistleblower complaint at the heart of a showdown between the intelligence community and Congress involved “multiple acts” involving the president, including one in which Trump made a commitment during a phone call with a foreign leader, according to the New York Times.
The complaint involves Ukraine, and was filed weeks after a call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, both the Washington Post and the New York Times reported.
The president’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, faced sharp public criticism earlier this year for his public comments encouraging Ukraine’s government to pursue investigations that would politically benefit Trump, including one involving the son of Vice President Joe Biden, one of the leading Democratic contenders to face off with Trump in the 2020 presidential election.
The inspector general of the American intelligence community briefed Congress on Thursday but provided few details about the complaint, according to lawmakers. He is expected to appear before Congress again next week.

‘Fox & Friends’ Host Steve Doocy: ‘Off-the-Rails Wrong’ if Trump Sought Quid Pro Quo From Ukraine on Biden

His colleagues, however, firmly defended the president, calling any impeachment talks “ridiculous.”

Fox News’ Steve Doocy has now drawn a line in the sand when it comes to President Donald Trump seeking assistance from a foreign leader in the upcoming election. We’ll see how long it will stand.

During Tuesday’s broadcast of Trump’s favorite morning talk show Fox & Friends, Doocy declared that it would be “really off-the-rails wrong” if the president offered a quid pro quo in exchange for the Ukrainian government opening an investigation into Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

In the wake of a blockbuster Washington Post report that revealed Trump ordered to withhold nearly $400 million of military aid to Ukraine days before he pushed the Ukrainian president to investigate the Bidens, Doocy said that the freeze of money “doesn’t look like good timing” before offering up a defense for Trump.

“But Fox News has confirmed that apparently the president wanted to make sure that the new president of Ukraine understood that if you are going to get this money, we really want you to end corruption before we give you that dough,” he added. “Then there are other stories out about whether or not other allies and other countries were actually kicking in as much money as they should on the world stage.”

Co-hosts Brian Kilmeade and Ainsley Earhardt then rallied to the president’s side, stating that they do not have a “problem with the timing” of the withholding of aid and claiming that “it’s ridiculous” for House Democrats to be discussing impeachment over this.

Doocy, meanwhile, acknowledged that there should be a scenario that they can all agree is inappropriate.

“If the president said, I will give you the money but you have got to investigate Joe Biden, that is really off-the-rails wrong,” he stated. “But if it’s something else, you know, it would be nice to know what it is.”

This didn’t seem to faze his colleagues, however, as Kilmeade went on to say that the whistleblower behind the complaint surrounding the call could potentially be someone who is still upset about the 2016 election and disagrees with Trump’s policies.

Andrew Napolitano says Trump has admitted to crime

Fox News senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano said President Trump has already admitted to committing a crime by asking Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden.

Napolitano appeared on Fox News with host Shepard Smith on Tuesday to discuss the recent battle between the Trump administration and Democrats in the House over the president’s discussions with Ukraine.
Napolitano said Trump has admitted to committing a campaign finance violation.
"It is a crime for the president to solicit aid for his campaign from a foreign government," Napolitano said. "This is the same crime for which the Trump organization was investigated by [former special counsel Robert Mueller] who decided not to seek an indictment because there wasn't enough evidence."

Napolitano also said that what Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani has admitted to also potentially amounts to a campaign finance violation. Giuliani has said that he, under direction from the Trump administration, has pushed the Ukraine government to open an investigation into the former vice president and his son, Hunter Biden.

"If that was done in order to enhance the president’s reelection campaign, yes, it’s the same crime that the president would have committed if the president said 'I want you to investigate my principal opponents son' while thinking to himself it is going to help his campaign," Napolitano said.

It's been less than a day since Pelosi annouced the start of the inquiry and there's already some cracks in the walls at Fox News...

White House accidentally emails Trump-Ukraine talking points to Democrats

It then sent another email requesting to ‘recall’ original message, but evidence suggests it may be too late

The White House just offered a painful reminder to always double-check the recipients before hitting “send” on that office email. Shortly after the release of an explosive memo showing Trump pressuring Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden, the administration appeared to accidentally send its talking points on the scandal to House Democrats.

The talking points encouraged the president’s political allies to argue that there was no direct quid pro quo conveyed in the memo and that the whistleblower complaint was handled “by the book”.
“The case just shows another example of the ‘Deep State’, the media, and the Democrats in Congress damaging our national security by leaking confidential information,” they go on to say.

After realizing the error, the White House sent another email to House Democrats, this time requesting to “recall” the original message.
However, it was too late, and shortly after the mistake was made screenshots of the talking points quickly spread on social media, catching the interest of many, including Bernie Sanders.

@SenSanders

The White House sent us their talking points around President Trump’s Ukraine call.
For some strange reason, they forgot to mention that Mr. Trump said, “I would like you to do us a favor though” after Zelensky brought up military aid.

------------------

While the Democratic party is yet to officially confirm whether they disregarded the email or not, the evidence suggests that it may now be too late.

I'll tell you one thing.

This is the closest that the organism referred to as Adam Schiff comes to happiness. He is the literal embodiment of the word "anal". When people say, "nah, that dude across the street's all 'anal' about block parties, so we have to take it to the park" - used in that context, if 'anal' were to be transfigured into hieroglyph, it would be Adam Schiff. Unsmiling, embittered, perpetually bewildered-looking, soft-palmed, limp-wristed, bedwetting 'til he was nine years old Adam Schiff.

Orgasmic (in his way) over the prospect of being a historical footnote, the crusading inquisitor in a doomed, sideshow impeachment that will propel Trump to a second term. Kenneth Starr gets more pussy.

I suspect that he especially dislikes Trump, because Trump, the unlearned, uncouth boob that he is, will always be remembered as President of the United States. And Schiff will always have to wait for a table. That's got to piss him off (and so many career politician Dems). I mean, over-and-above his inherent pissed-offedness.

Just look at the stooge. Goofy looking, used Q tip motherfucker :jester:

Douche, with a c.

Trump is going to be impeached. Trump is going to prison.

"Though the Democrats control the House of Representatives, where they need a simple majority of votes, the Senate, controlled by Republicans, would have to vote with a two-thirds majority to remove the president from office, which is not likely to ever happen in a million fucking years, so cram it up your cramholes, you Goddamn stupid Dems, that stumbled backwards into high school civics, and haven't got a clue in your empty, stupid pig heads", said Chauncey Dungstain of New Braunfels Community College Committee on the Prevention of Ear Herpes. He also said to take my dick out of your ear.

And prison? For what? How's that going to go, exactly? Hmmm?

I think it would be a huge mistake for Democrats to think Trump WILL be impeached but I also think it would be an equally huge mistake for Republicans to think that Trump has 0% chance to be impeached.

I wouldn't it's 50-50, more like 30-70. But a few days ago, when the inquiry was announced, I would have said 10-90...

House Democrats could have impeached the motherfucker last night if they were so inclined. It will happen, and I suggest you get clear on what impeachment means. I didn't say the senate would remove the orange pig, but he will be impeached, after they drag him through his own shit for the next 14 months, or he resigns.

Asphincter says, "Andprisonforwhat?"

New York has been building a case against him for a couple years now.
When he can no longer hide behind the office of the president they will burn him down.
It’s just a matter of time.

"remove the orange pig"
"drag him through his own shit"
"they will burn him down"

How very progressive of you girls. Please, can we go back to the pissflap inanities of, "That bad ol' Mr. Trump, he's lowering the level of discourse in this country, what, with his bellicose utterings and such! I say!"

I say, actually, that you guys should seek help, and maybe get to a place where you're comfortable facing your attacker, the Republican, or the land developer, or the Republican land developer that touched you in the naughty place, those many years ago. I mean, something's making your rectum leak when you see your President. That's got to be it, you've got to be buttrape victims. Possibly, at the hands of Republican land developers. And judging by the depths of your hatred, and your manic need for revenge at all costs, your bootyholes were vigorously abused.

If a failed impeachment can cool your wounded bums, maybe the Dems should push on ahead with this one, and just throw in the towel already, on 2020. For the aching bootyholes.

Right on time. Mr. "I came here for civil discourse and debate, but I guess if nobody wants to do that, I'll just take my Pampers and go home.", right on time.

Vote Democrat in 2020, the party of ideas! No, really... just... wait, lemme check AOC's Twitter for what I'm supposed to think.
