This idea came to me exactly 5 min ago, when I read AH's post about the lack of activity since Christmas. Somehow people have to be inspired topost more quality threads... Combine it with Juball's member of the week thread and you get this, "the thread of the month" (a week is a bit short) thread.
In essence, every thread that you think has a certain quality applies. So if you think that a thread posted in the ID forum has a great quality, then nominate it, but also state your reason.
You can only nominate threads posted in a certain month, so in this case, January and next at the next elections, february. You can nominate from the 16th to the last day of the month, and I'll use the first 2 or 3 days of the next month to see which thread is the best according to me (If multiple people want to join some sort of jury, PM me and we'll discuss the idea. I can tell in advance however, that jury members will not be allowed to post nominations.). You nominate a SINGLE thread by posting a link, using the Premium Link Upgrade
