Which band did/do you like more? Yes, I'm making you choose (and I like both). My iTunes player keeps up with how many times I listen to a song. My #1 most listened to is The Smashing Pumpkins' "1979."

I like then both too. I Already have assisted to (live) concerts of each of them.
But my preference goes to radiohead... by far.
'Cause they are more "consistent".
i.e., I can say that I am a fan of every Radiohead album.
"Ok computer" is one of the best albums Ever!

I think i've never listened to Radiohead, and i've only heard one Smashing Pumpkins song(the one of GHIII) and that song was pretty good.

Is somewhere outhere.
I can't really pick between the two.The Pumpkins are a great band and 1979 is one of my fave tracks of theirs as well. But Radiohead play more mellower stuff I think.

Radiohead have never belted a track out like Tarantula.I think the closest they came to it was The Bends but they are also a great band too.I think Radiohead are still one of the best British bands to date I haven't heard their latest album, but I intend to get it soon. :D

I fully agree with all of that.

They were in their prime when that tune came out. They used to really rock.

The Smashing pumpkins are pretty good. The singers voice is a little annoying, but overall I like them better.

I think Radiohead take themselves much more seriously and it works...OK Computer rules!

Smashing Pumpkins are a bit too trashy...Mellon Collie was one hell of an album though!

Very tough one but if I had to choose, I'd say the Pumpkins simply based on style... They do heavy stuff and lighter stuff. The only "heavy" song I can say Radiohead did was Creep.

what the fuck you lookin at?
Neither, from what I've heard from both bands they both suck. :dunno:

Radiohead and it's not even close. The Pumpkins were a great band in the mid 90s. Radiohead is the greatest band on the planet. The only band that can challenge them is Rage Against the Machine. I'll hold something out for Pearl Jam but it looks less and less likely that they'll ever really matter as they once did.

The Pumpkins, they have a wonderful range of styles in their music. Haven't really listened to Radiohead, but the pumpkins are one of my favorite bands.

Radiohead. Pumpkins peaked in the mid to late 90s. Radiohead never hit a roadbump in their albums.

Btw, what good is voting if you havent heard both bands? At least compare your choice to another band of similiar genre and taste.

Smashing Pumpkins are great, but I think they have way too much material that sounds samey. There more of a "greatest hits" type band, where as Radiohead's albums are usually great start to finish.

Man I'm sorry but I must be totally disagree with that!
This is not even close of the truth.
Creep is not so "heavy". And for a very long time radiohead were (are) tired of playing that music.

They have heavy music. Really. But what that must be understood (I think) is that "heavy" music is not just "noisy" music.
Alias, Schizophrenia is not a light scene.

Radiohead is so much better it's not even funny. And I'm from Chicago so I got love for the Pumpkins, but still, it's not even close in my book.
