WHAT? At home and with the injuries that Indy has, they should have won this game! Brady has always had more talent around him than Peyton has.

You weren't watching the game closely.

Here are the Indy players who caught passes today...
R. Wayne 8 107 13.4 1 28 11
P. Garcon 5 62 12.4 0 17 9
J. Tamme 7 60 8.6 0 17 11
A. Collie 5 60 12.0 0 28 6
B. White 5 42 8.4 2 18 7
D. Brown 3 40 13.3 0 25 3
J. James 4 24 6.0 0 11 4
G. Robinson 1 1 1.0 1 1 1

Here are the Patriots who caught passes today...
D. Branch 7 70 10.0 0 18 10
W. Welker 5 58 11.6 1 22 7
R. Gronkowski 1 25 25.0 0 25 1
D. Woodhead 4 21 5.3 0 9 4
A. Hernandez 1 8 8.0 1 8 1
B. Green-Ellis 1 4 4.0 0 4 1
J. Edelman 0 0 0.0 0 0 1

I kinda think Reggie Wayne and Pierre Garcon are better than Welker and Branch. Austin Collie is better than...gee, the Pats don't have a #3 WR at the moment  Julian Edelman? Haha. He probably wouldn't be on any other team other than the Patriots...(he's cheap!)

I think the RBs TODAY, for both teams, are scrubs. You guys have Joseph Addai who is better than Green-Ellis and Danny Freaking Woodhead, a Jets castoff. The Patriots don't have any good RBs injured or starting.

I think Dallas Clark is better than any Patriot TE. Yeah, no Clark out there hurt Manning.

Dwight Freeney is a better DLineman than any Patriot DL. The Patriots have the edge at LB.

The Patriots have a clear advantage at OLine.

The Colts had the talent today to beat the Pats. The Pats are King Brady and a bunch of no name princes on offense.

Actually Peyton looks at those snapshots on the sidelines after every drive regardless of the outcome - TD, FG, INT, or fumble.

Hmm. Unless he's looking at snapshots of ~pUsSy~ in the stands, he usually sits on the bench with a ballcap on and a shit-eatin' grin on his face. :dunno:

Collie left the game he is still hurt. Clark is one of his leading targets. Not to mention their other injured starters. I don't think anyone was betting to heavy on Indy.

All this Manning better than Brady or the other way around goes back to one thing. Marino vs. Montana. Dan had the records and Joe had the rings. Same with Brady and Manning. When it is all over both will be in the hall of fame. The great QB ever is none of the guys I metioned the best ever was Johnny Unitas. BTW I think that Brady is the bastard son of Joe just look at them both have the same throwing motion and the clef chin

i missed the game, but another classic game...recent memory these two teams play until the clock strikes 0:00...it isnt over until it's over...good job pats...we'll see you in the playoffs again, i hope

My 2 cents.....

The Patriots IMO have less offensive talent than the Colts. Until Aaron Hernandez becomes the one of the best tight ends in the NFL (or Tom Brady makes him look like it).

Anyone who compares Brett Favre to Peyton Manning is like comparing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to Shaq . Sure, he had alot of numbers, but it's cuz he played forever. Shaq was alot more dominant.

Hell yeah. Down to the fucking wire. Stellar win by the budding NE defense. And let's not forget that the Colts beat the spread. That counts for a hell of a lot in my book.

NE sure could use Ellis Hobbs and Asante Samuels now...still can't believe how competitive the Pats have been all these years with the amount of turnover they've had on their roster...

BTW, they should bring back the red, white and blue and this iconic logo..

As sorely missed as Asante is, I was really glad he landed in Philly. That great hit he made against the Giants last night was one of my favorite points in that game He was way too colorful for the stolid New England and just seems to gel with the Eagles the way say Branch just gels with Brady. imo.

Sure would help the Pats as their D this year is the worst in their history if I heard correctly.

They have a strong team but just like yesterday..their lack of good cover guys is their weakness..and could be another chink which stops them from winning another ring.

Way I see it is their developing. Brady has several more good years in him so they don't have to do it this year, and can take the time to get the team in shape.

Defense saved them the game last night and played very well considering they were facing off the best passing quarterback probably in the history of the sport with almost all nubs.

But with solid coaching and leadership they will steadily improve, so if not this year, in one of the next few, and maybe not just one more ring, but a couple.

The one thing a player never takes for granted is their ability to return to the SB and or win it. So many things must go right and you must even have a sprinkle of good fortune too...so nothing's guaranteed.

Ask Dan Marino and others.

I'll bet Belichick has more years left coaching than Brady has serviceable years playing...He can afford the years to build and look forward to...after all as a pseudo-coach/manager...he would simply expect to get another Brady once Brady's years numbered up.

Saying they can simply develop their young DBs is a risk that the guys still might not credibly develop and even if or when they did the team could be beset with other misfortunes which derail their chances.:2 cents:

I'll I'm sayin' is Brady has a perfect record atm. Fuck Marino-I never fucking liked that guy.

And can I just say DEION-MOTHERFUCKING-BRANCH! (Randy who???)

Maybe they win, maybe they lose, but they are looking good.

Now let's see if they can do it against the Nimble Jets of New York.

So much is riding on that upcoming game.
