Yes I saw that. If he was astute enough, he would have noticed that he also posted it in the wrong thread. He likes to pose as a sports aficionado. He's not. The Cubs are an easy target for ridicule, self-admitted by you and many others. To pick this time frame to rub salt in the wound (I mean, the Cardinals just LOST the World Series for chrissakes!) shows a lack of acumen when it comes to America's pastime and the phenonmenon that is the Chicago Cubs. Frankly, it's much more fun to poke fun at the Cubs when they are a good team who comes up short. Looking forward to when that happens again. Plus, I can't wait to see Wrigley's facelift when it is completed. Still the best baseball venue in the USA.

Mayhem didn't believe me when I pointed out the similarities a couple of weeks ago.

I had more faith in the admins than they deserve. If they consciously let Sam back in then they have my unfiltered contempt. If they let Sam sneak past them then they have my unfiltered contempt.

I really wasn't a fan of ~whimsy~ and didn't mind when he left. But I remember that he said he had found a new home and I find myself genuinely curious as to where that might be.

Blue Countach has been going through some shit lately apparently, and has been a worthwhile contributor to the board. While I think maybe some of his recent choices have been, uh, questionable I still think he's a decent guy at heart, and just trying to deal with things right now, and maybe having some trouble coping. So, nah. While I might not agree with his politics, that doesn't make him a troll and I don't think going through a rough spot makes him one either. :dunno:

He's a nice fella. He calls a spade a spade even though there are funner things to hurl at them. The sage of North Cackalacky.

One of the reasons I rarely post an opinion or frequent this site anymore is knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathers like Sam. Hopefully, there will be a continued up-swing in the quality of discussions.

I hope Sam can stick around. Can I suggest that if you do, try not to incite. I have been an asshole around here the past couple of weeks and I didn't like what I read. It never accomplishes anything and you feel like you are dealing with someone hostile try and ignore them. That is my new pledge. Not worth it.
