Actually, it's Wile E. Coyote... a pun of sorts.
I grew up with him too. The one thing this cartoon taught me growing up was that no matter how hard I try, I will always fail. What a great cartoon. :1orglaugh

i heard this theory before... that in the final episode... wile E cyote actually catches the roadrunner only to tag him and say, "your it"

i doubt its true... but that would be one hell of an ending

I always preferred Roadrunner and Wile to Tom and Jerry. For some reason I could always accept that the roadrunner was smarter, whilst I think I just found that Jerry was lucky, and whenever that massive bulldog put his nose in, i felt so annoyed. I also think that Tom was more sympathetic, whereas it was just fun to watch Wile get pelter. good fun, thanks for the image!

I remember being a kid asking my mom what the hell ACME was because of that cartoon. I thought it was a real brand for killing and catching things and stuff. LOL :eek:

That was the good ole' days of cartoons. I remember getting up at 5:30 AM on Sat. and watching Underdog, Speed Buggy, Scooby Doo, ect. What little they have on Sat. now is absolute crap. Thanks for the memories! Great post!
