Oh my. They are coming out of the closet.

Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul Gosar are forming the America First Caucus. From their policy platform:
"America is a nation with a border, and a culture, strengthened by a common respect for uniquely Anglo-Saxon political traditions. History has shown that societal trust and political unity are threatened when foreign citizens are imported en-masse into a country, particularly without institutional support for assimilation and an expansive welfare state to bail them out should they fail to contribute positively to the country,"

Do they get the irony of this statement?

So...what I guess she's trying to say is that she wants to give all the land back to the Native Americans.

You raise an interesting point I had not previously noted. Her NW Georgia district encompasses much of the land the Cherokees were displaced from by the 1830 Indian Removal Act.

She actually did say:
"On Friday, sick and evil POS in the media attacked me with phrases I never said or wrote. They released a staff level draft proposal from an outside group that I hadn’t read. The scum and liars in the media are calling me a racist by taking something out of context."

She makes a good point: Doctors are not always right. Since they are not always right, we should accept the fact by giving Ted Nugent, Sean Hannity, and Joe Rogan some slack. They may be more correct about medicine than doctors. How many deaths can be attributed to 'suffocation by coronavirus mask'? It has to be in the tens of thousands. And those damn vaccines! Be like Trump - inject bleach instead.

She needs to get real. It sounds like her psychiatrists (how many has she seen?) aren't too far off the mark:
Psychopathy is a personality disorder characterized by persistent antisocial behavior, impaired empathy and remorse, and bold, disinhibited, and egotistical traits.

Just when you thought Georgia was bad with the restriction of voting rights, along comes Florida and Governor DeSantis.

It is interesting to read about the fuss over mail-in voting in certain states. In Colorado it has been practiced safely and efficiently for nearly a decade with both Democrats and Republicans in control.

[Sorry if this is behind a paywall, but I was able to get to it without being in an account. A right-leaning citation was needed.]

Why does Liz Cheney even need to say this?
"I disagree strongly w/ [Joe Biden's] policies, but when the President reaches out to greet me in the chamber of the US House of Representatives, I will always respond in a civil, respectful & dignified way. We’re different political parties. We’re not sworn enemies. We’re Americans."

Oh, here's why:
“Republican” warmonger Liz Cheney gives Sleepy Joe a fist bump after he delivered a radical socialist vision for the future of America. So glad she’s in the GOP leadership, I guess they wanted to be more inclusive and put Democrats in there too?!?"

Liz Cheney? Says the one who got censored in Wyoming. Hey, is that a country?

John Cazale ad libbed that line. On the first take, he had Al Pacino and Sidney Lumet rolling on the floor in laughter. True story.
