Okay, just to be clear, I kinda feel bad about saying that now. Christy Mack may very well have just thought that putting that up was cute, and quite possibly in no way reflects how seriously she is or isn't taking the contest. She also wasn't the one to make the nasty tweet and as such totally didn't deserve to be questioned like that.
Formal apology commenting in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... If you read that and took offense, well I'm sorry Christy Mack. As much as I try to refrain from douchebaggery we all slip sometimes. Again, sorry. Totally my bad.
No one was being nasty to you. They are stating facts that you may not like but they are still facts. What makes you think you are so worthy of the title? Because you have gone through hardships? We all go though them, that doesn't make you the BEST at something. It means you are using pity to stir up votes, when it should be about the content you put out. If you had any real respect for the industry you would want someone to win that has put so much work into their career, and by career I do not mean someone signing up to a cam site that anyone can sign up to in 5 minutes. You have said yourself that you only have 200 followers on twitter, is that really indicative of someone that is the BEST newcomer? No it is not.
And shame on all you long term members that have voted for this girl. I lurk here every year with this contest and so many of you complain about models signing up just for the contest and bailing, yet this girl has been here for a few months and just because she bats an eye at you, votes pour in for her. She didn't know about the contest? Give me a break, anyone can see this has been going on 3 years now. This girl is just proof that this contest gives way too much power to board members, give power to them for the OCSM category but the rest of the contest is for the entire industry, it should NOT be a freeones board popularity contest.
The FreeOnes contest could be the equivalent of a pissing contest for Christy Mack for all we know. I'm not trying to disparage her as she does seem to genuinely enjoy interacting with her fans but she doesn't represent FreeOnes in anyway shape or form. Maybe because of the success she is garnering she might consider so in the future.
As far as I am concerned, Jaana has proven time and time again and continues to prove why she deserves Best Newcomer.

My twitter follower count isn't indicative of how hard I work. the main site I cam on, Streamate, doesn't even allow me to promote the fact that i have a Twitter.It's against the rules to talk about other sites, and even though I have THOUSANDS of followers there, I can't tell them I have Twitter. My personal website gets about 200 hits a day, which isn't bad. I do independent phone sex and cam show sessions daily, with people who SEARCH FOR ME, I'm constantly brainstorming video ideas and posting new clips online, but the guys who do the indie shows and the guys that buy my clips don't always have Twitter pages, or if they do they don't want them associated with cam girls. I mean, maybe I'd have over 100,000 followers if I had an agent and a studio behind me that promoted me and did all of my hard work for me, but as someone who does this entire thing DIY, the fact i've managed to get myself any followers, in my humble opinion, is awesome, and I'm proud of how far I've come because it certainly hasn't been and isn't easy.
Do you honestly believe I'm going to bail after the contest, the contest i didn't even READ ABOUT untl two weeks before it started, on a website I just found out existed in December? i love Freeones. I plan on putting more and more videos and pictures up on my Babe section over the next few months. I plan on staying with the forum and continuing to actively communicate with the people that support me. This is just how I am. My parents taught me to be grateful, honest, and genuine - so I don't plan to be anything but.
Also, How DARE you downplay how hard it is to be a cam girl. It IS a career. Maybe any female can sign up for a cam site, but not every female can build a customer base, gain regulars, and b successful, and I'm proud to say that on every site I've been on, I've done just that. And you entirely missed the point of my post. I did not come on here to insult you or to put down your appearance, I came in here to bring you down to earth a little. Because clearly members on here have inflated your ego to the point of not seeing facts in front of your face. For one streamate may not allow you to mention your twitter handle but that is besides the point with hashtags and search engines. Do you think porn stars advertise their twitter during porn shoots? I also never said you didn't work hard as a cam girl, but as hard as a girl who cams, drives to porn shoots, raises 155,000 followers on twitter and is ranked 29 in the freeones babe ranks when you are number 7896? No not as hard. Those are all facts that clearly point to someone else as the best Newcomer, whether you agree with them or not they don't change. I believe they meant it is a joke you are in second when you look at your fan base, amount of content, and the quality of it compared to the other girls in the category. The point of that statement is people complain about new girls coming along right before a contest and then they vote for them anyway.

Numbers don't mean a damn thing. She has major companies getting behind her, an agent, etc - and I have only me. none of that stuff really exists in Finland. I work hard, and it's completely backwards to tell me how much harder someone else works than I do because they've got more followers on a website I barely use. I could have a high rank here as well if I posted free porn videos, but i can't afford to do that right now. though I'd like to if I win and possibly even if I don't(at some point). You don't know me. You don't know how much effort I put into what i do and it IS insulting for you to tell me that i don't work as hard as her when you just plain don't know.
If numbers didn't mean a damn thing there would be no competition. You complain about someone discrediting your hard work so in return you discredit the work Christy Mack has done? You think those major companies just fell in her lap? You think agents are free? You think getting money to have free porn videos up is easy? You think being that well known is easy with family and friends knowing? From my understanding Christy grew up pretty poor and worked hard for all of those things. See what you fail to realize is I'm putting you all on a level playing field and saying she worked hard to get where she is, and you worked hard to get where you are. But considering all she has accomplished it would apear she has worked even harder to be where she is today, and is very deserving of the Newcomer title if she wins it.

You don't have to concede to a thing I say, but having a global rank of 7896 and being in front of Anissa Kate who is ranked 32, and being second to a girl who is ranked 29 shows this voting system is severely flawed, and puts entirely too much power into the hands of board members. Agree with me or not I wish you luck with the rest of the competition, and don't worry because tomorrow 10+ people that have far to little contact with real women will come to this thread to kiss your ass while disagreeing with me and all will be well again.
