Verstappen - he is racong like Schumacher did, stretching the limits of acceptable or even allowed racing, and he may cross the line this weekend, as after the GP in Spa, the stewards will surely keep an extra eye on him.

Utterly amazed he escaped without severe penalties, I guess the stewards have been told to be lenient with him because he's exciting.

I'm hoping exciting doesn't lead to someone being seriously injured since that seems to be the likely outcome if he continues driving like that.

Yes, I'm hoping things don't escalate to something along those lines. He's clearly extremely talented, everyone knows that and can see it - but you just wonder what with his age and everyone telling him how great he is, that he may think he can get do what he likes. I hope it doesn't take a grave incident for him to learn a lesson.

Yes, many comparisons to Schumacher. Driving talent, aggressive defensive driving in order to maintain position and the sheer fan following he is generating. It's quite incredible really.

Schumacher maintained that aggressive streak right through until his more recent racing years (ie. almost putting Barichello in the wall at Hungary) - I just hope with Max things don't get out of hand.

I suggest that Lewis start spending more time at NHRA drag races and less time at fashion shows and movie premiers. Maybe they can teach him how to launch a car when the lights go out. Wow! Just wow!

I think they should bring Launch Control back. How stupid is a rue that makes somebody lose half the race for just making that split-second mistake?

But this race really showed how much the setup of the Mercedes makes the difference, if you come out front after the start or have to race in the field. The latter is clearly not so good, if they keep that setup

I'm glad that Kevin Magnussen was healthy enough to race at Monza. But if he hadn't been, I saw a short list of names that could have replaced him. One was Carmen Jorda. Without putting too fine a point on it... :wtf:

Renault’s reserve driver, Esteban Ocon, recently signed a race deal with Manor, making his debut at Spa. Should Renault require a stand-in for Monza, they will have to look elsewhere. Possibilities include Carmen Jorda, who is their Development Driver.

Why do people keep mentioning the name of someone who has never won a race in ANY series or formula and who (as far as I know) doesn't even have a super license? Hell, she doesn't even have the qualifications to get a super license! She wouldn't be allowed to race in F1. OK, she's cute and she's got good fashion sense. We get it. But she makes Milka Duno look like Michael Schumacher in his prime.

Sorry, but this sums up her "talent" and contribution to F1 so far.

Formula One is understood to have begun the process of finding a successor to Bernie Ecclestone after Liberty Media’s purchase of the sport last week.

The new owner has stressed its intent to change the way F1 is run and has already appointed Chase Carey, a former executive vice-president of 21st Century Fox, as chairman of the Formula One Group. Ecclestone has said the company wants him to stay on as chief executive for a further three years but it is believed to be unlikely he will see out that period of time. The CEO and founder of Formula E, Alejandro Agag, is among the leading contenders to replace him.

Rosberg was the deserving winner of the Singapore Grand Prix today. And though I'll continue to pull for Hamilton, if Rosberg wins this championship, he can now say that he won it on merit and not just because of Lewis' bad luck earlier on. Lewis stormed back, but has more recently gone severely off song.

It would be as Mercedes would want it.
They seem to favor rosburg in every press conference I see him as a second tier driver in first tier equipment.

I somehow KNEW something would happen to Hamilton. When that picture came onto my TV screen with Hamilton coming down he track towards the camera, smoke building behind his car, then suddenly the flames... it was just, "yep, there you go, buddy. There you go."

Crazy that I don't like Lewis so much anymore. Probably because he acted pretty aggressive towards his teammate, even taking him out on several occasions.

Lewis is going to need a miracle to hold on to the championship this year. He has been so unlucky with the hardware. He had a few off par races but was back on song this weekend.

As for Lewis taking out Rosberg - tit for tat, I would say. Neither giving any quarter.

I'd watch it 24 hours a day if I could stay awake. My hope is that Liberty Media will develop a brain implant so that I can see F1 races even while I'm ******.

In other words, F1 is THE ****. Ain't no **** like THAT ****!

whats new with the F1 racing i've always been a fan of F1 racing and watching alot of shows

I am using a couple resources to stay informed. Not surprising, the first source is www.formula1.com

Here is the article there about the 2016 rule changes. Right now, they are already developing changes for next year. And, as Rey pointed out, a new owner will take the F1 franchise to new places, whoch promises a lot.
