I think Schumacher humiliated himself at this race more than any previous ones. Getting lapped by the leaders, having Rosberg place way ahead of him, then getting done by mid-level racers like Buemi in the closing moments, while causing havok everywhere he went...not a good outcome at all.

Of course, if all races were as exciting as Montreal regarding tire strategy, they would never get any tire sponsors! Hey, come be the official tire sponsor of Formula 1 and watch your tires get destroyed in front of millions of fans!

It's going to be interesting to see what Mclaren's redesign of the car is going to do for Lewis and Button's times at Silverstone. ;-) Hopefully it's a wet race!!

Come on Lewis!!!

Yes! What he said^^^

We'll see what happens tomorrow. Maybe the Red Bulls will bounce into each other again and Lewis will take another one! :nanner:

I am in favor of Hamilton's style of racing, too! But wow, Schumacher really made a grave mistake getting back into F1, and I think it is starting to show in his racing results... At some point in a season, even the most motivated guy will accept that he will not come into the top five or something like that. Just because it is mathematically impossible, and because if you loose so many times, it is only human to say, hell, we just do not have the complete package, regarding extreme driver performance, a stable, fast car, and a great team in the pit.

When it seemed that Schumacher picked up the torch from Senna, I rather liked him. Especially as it was good to see Ferrari recover from so many years of failure. But after he bounced into Hill and then (especially) Villeneuve (one of our boys from CART), I grew to strongly dislike him.

But now, this latest episode very much reminds me of the last few Muhammad Ali fights that I saw. He hasn't lost it totally, but between the car and the fact that he's obviously lost a step or three, I don't see this ending well. And even though I didn't like him when he was on top, I do respect him for his accomplishments. So it would be sad to see him having to leave in humiliation, if that's how it ends. Rosberg's performances versus his seem to be pointing to that script. What has Rosberg got, like double the points that Schumacher does so far?

What do the F1 fans here think, one and out, or do you think he'll come back next year no matter what?

Since I know that he's OK (other than a bruised ego), I offer this song in tribute to Mark Webber. Did Homey catch some air or what???!!!

And for those who don't know what I'm talking about...

Well, at least it wasn't each other this time.

And is it just me or is Alonzo a whiney ass bitch? I'd love to have seen his face when he realized that Hamilton's drive through penalty didn't affect Hamilton's position at all. Or that the penalties that the commision put on the other cars that went too fast during the SC didn't hardly move position at all. :1orglaugh

Yes, ever since he didn't get top billing at McLaren he blames everyone but himself for his own failures. Good to see Lewis still leading the championship, but there is still a long way to go.

Indeed, if Alonso thinks he deserved to be on the podium, maybe he can first explain why he got done by Kobayashi on the last lap. Don't think Hamilton, Maylander or Whiting had anything to do with that move. Maybe Charlie Whiting has secret remote control over Alonso's brakes that forces him to miss braking points.

I'd have loved to be a fly on the wall when Kobayashi passed him. I bet you that just added oil to the flames.

Yes, Alonso is a total whiner. People don't remember it so well, because he didn't get much press back then, but even at Minardi, Alonso had a tendency to cry a lot. Back then he complained that the people of Spain hadn't supported his early career and poor Fernandito had to do it all by his little self. :crying:

Not just because he totally ate Alonso's lunch and smiled in his face while he did it, but I really like Kobayashi! He is a REAL racer! Aggressive and quick. I like that! While Alonso was crying on his radio to his engineer about Hamilton, Kamui laid the smackdown on him! :nanner: That's the Fernando that I love to root against. Only when things are going well is he Mr. Happy. The rest of the time he seems to do nothing but complain and whine about what other people are doing. I really wish Massa was doing better at Ferrari. And I hope that either Rosberg or (especially) Schumacher can get close enough to take points from Alonso. Every place he goes, he causes trouble: McLaren, Renault and now Ferrari. He's quick as all get out. But he causes so much drama within a team.

What was Alonso talking about a while back in Spain? Manipulated outcomes?

He was claiming that the FIA was manipulating outcomes. Man I hate that whiney ass bitch.

I do find it amazing how Ferarri can be the winners of the day and still be the biggest losers ever.

Someone on another board asked me who I was pulling for this year. I told him that I have two picks: Lewis Hamilton and ABA (Anybody But Alonso). McLaren's new aero bits don't seem to be working so well right now. While Ferrari's flexible front wing seems to have gained them some real speed. So unless McLaren gets it together right after the break, I guess I'll have to start pulling for Vettel and Webber... cause I'll heave if that slimey, unibrow prick wins the WDC!

I would wish for Vettel to move over and take Alonso's front wing off at the start tomorrow. But if I wish for that, it'll be Hamilton that gets taken out.

Hamilton is my fave driver, as I said before... His style of racing and his persona and family really make a great guy and a great driver.

I go along with your second pick, that Alonso creature is a pest!

As the Hungaroring GP is only a couple hours away and the front lines are all packed with 1st row: Red Bull and 2nd row: Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton on their backs, and the course being called the least likely to allow taking over in-race, the start will probably be everybody with his knife between their teeth

I really hope his temper will get the better of him and Alonso mess it up :1orglaugh

See, that's why I didn't wish any bad luck on that little prick. And even though I didn't... still!!!

Damn. Damn! Double damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cussing::weeping::mad:

Oh yes. The Formula 1 is back, and on the Track of Spa, Belgium.

Always a tricky one to race, weather can switch so fast.

Mark Webber - having celebrated his birthday on Friday, 27th of August - is doing well, and I hope this tool Sebastian Vettel will loose some more points, as he is an extremely bad team colleague. Seen him in an interview lately and asked about what he will give his colleague Webber, he said, 'First idea was one of those freebie hair shampoo bottles you get in hotels, and that Michael Schumacher gave him the tip to empty that first'

Pathetic, he is behind ten points and needs to hate on his teammate.

Pos Fahrer Team Pkt.
1 Mark Webber RBR 161
2 Lewis Hamilton MCL 157
3 Sebastian Vettel RBR 151
4 Jenson Button MCL 147
5 Fernando Alonso FER 141
6 Felipe Massa FER 97
7 Nico Rosberg MER 94
8 Robert Kubica REN 89
9 Michael Schumacher MER 38
10 Adrian Sutil FIN 35

Of course, Schumacher is worse, his days in F1 are thru and he needs to shut the fuck up and go home.
