I do watch the games from time to time, mostly marquee match-ups. Sure as hell not going to watch the Kings and the Clippers

Notice when the NFL had their lockout people were talking everywhere "hey whens the lockout gonna end?" "heard anything on the NFL???" fast fwd to the NBA lockout... "crickets"..."crickets".. yea I think Stern realized this too. Kinda hard to make money if no one gives a damn about your league enough to be a household topic of conversation or a daily workplace conversation.

Best Christmas present ever. I fucking love basketball. College hoops is great, but I want to watch the best players on the planet, not some white kids with all heart and no skill.

I still don't like the absence of a hard cap though. WTF were the owners thinking letting that shit slide?? And no franchise tag? Looks like it's 5-6 teams competing for titles until both parties opt out of the CBA in 6 years.

Hate basketball! Wish they would have shut it down for years so some of those primadonna aholes would have to get a real job and see what the rest of us have to go through on a daily basis. Everybody whining about NBA players being primadonnas are losing track of a couple of things:

1: There are far fewer NBA players than any other pro team sport.
2: It's mostly American.
3: NFL'ers are just as whiny and bitchy.
4: Soccer players invented the primadonna code.
5: The NBA is the most difficult pro league to get in to.

Besides, how y'all gonna complain about the players bitching, when half of you are doing the same damn thing? Haters aside, the NBA has, without question, the second most exciting pro sport product behind football, and anyone that watches Sportcenter can tell you that without the NBA... Sportcenter is damn near useless. That is unless you can't get enough of hearing about child molestation or the grand crock of dog shit that is the BCS standings. I love the NBA, and fuck anybody with anything else to say about that shit.
