Is the bass guitar that intrusive to neighbors? I was thinking about trying to learn bass ,but I never new it could be a pain like Drums or trumpet/sax,,etc.... I was on my way to 'prickdom':dunno: I may have to rethink this.

Like Birdy said, you can get headphones...which my downstairs neighbor definitely needed to get. The problem wasn't necessarily that it was loud, it was just that he sucked really, really bad and he would play the same 4 second loop of notes for a half hour, which became really irritating.

Honestly though, I would much rather have somebody playing bass instead of a trumpet or something.
