Now that WSJ is under News Corp. control, will they make online content free (not having to subscribe and pay); there was a suggestion of doing so during the buy-out. Or have I come late to the party? Is it free.

Speaking of News Corp, I thought this was pretty funny (in a sad sort of way) when I saw it. I hate the fact that this group of nickel sniffing frauds has anything to do with the Wall St. Journal and Barrons.

Apparently you haven't read some of the history of some of the Big 3 news media as well, or Michael Moore for that matter. ;)

Media in the US exists for ratings to gain advertising dollars. Many outlets have been behind the organization and engaging of many groups.

I've rarely ever seen neutrality in the US media.

Is that any different than JFK?

Although JFK had major fuck-ups, he did pull through some difficult situations as well, and possibly better than the "status quo."

And there's been political corruption since at least the time of the ancient Greeks. Would I say that's a reason to accept or be an apologist for politcal corruption? I wouldn't. But your mileage may vary.

And given that Fox News leaked the memo speaking of the reprimand to this producer, it seems that even they had an issue with what she did and how she did it. ;)

P.S. Michael Moore? Is he considered to be a journalist now?

good stuff with the history lesson all i can say on that is we as humans repeat past mistakes... :dunno:

as far as Michael Moore? goes i like his movies because it gets to some of the uninformed But... is he not one of the rich elite???

^True. Moore does reach (touch?) the masses. But I never actually learn anything new from his movies, from what I already previously knew. It's factual, it's documentative, it's non-sensational, but when I walk out of the theater - I have learnt nothing new. :))

Wow, where's the none option. Too many FOX choices. I like conservative spin as much as the next guy, but even I need a break sometime.

Fox News is not genuinely conservative
