Metal As Fuck

im one of the few metalheads around where i live and i was just wondering what the other headbangers out there are thinking about right now

Same, I'm one of the few Metal lovers (Specifically Thrash) out where I live. What am I thinking? Well for one, where the fuck can I get a drummer for my friend and I's band. Everyone here either plays plain rock stuff or makes up Rap beats and drums which I think is fucking stupid but that may just be me....other than that I don't really "think" about a lot (other than my future) I just live everyday as it comes to me I guess.

Ahaha. I haven't heard 3 Inches of Blood in quite some time. Need to pick up one of the their albums again.

I like all sorts of metal myself... all sorts of music actually. Can't really pinpoint anyone specifically.

I grew up listening to metal. I was a big fan of the undiscovered bands that Mike Varney used to feature on his Shrapnel label. The first time I ever heard Metallica it was on an album called "Metal Massacre" and featured Venom and Ratt.

The genre has changed so much but I guess the bands had to experiment with new sounds to keep the movement alive. Metal is a state of mind, lifestyle and movement.

I was huge into UFO, Maiden, Priest, Helloween, Witchfinder General, Anvil, Saxon, Queensryche, Icon, Wrathchild, LeMans, Trust.

Still love metal even though I am in my 40's.

i just seen Arch Enemy last week and got right to the front it was amasing
I'll see them on Metal Female Voices Festival VIII, next October.

Are they some Pagan/Folk Metal lovers around ? Does the names of Korpiklaani, Finntroll, Ensiferum or Eluveitie ring a belle to anyone ?

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
I love metal, but then again I pretty much listen to ALL genre's of music. NO COUNTRY, JAZZ or OPERA.

But I love METAL, some RAP, R & B, FUNK, techno, some top 40, ROCK, BLUES, etc. etc.

Albeit allot of the metal bands already posted in this thead via youtube, I haven't heard of allot of them. prolly cuz its more underground, I mean I used too watch headbangers ball, and whatever METAL shows that used too air on the music channels, but I am hooked on bands like RATM, SLIPKNOT, SOAD, TOOL, APC, MUDVAYNE, AMERICAN HEADCHARGE, LAMB OF GOD, BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, CATTLE DECAPATATION, SUPERJOINT RITUAL, DOWN, PANTERA... MANY MORE..ETC.. ETC..

I don't know if you guys consider those bands metal or commercial heavy?? but I like HEAVY & HARD but if I tried to listen to allot of the stuff listed I am afraid I wouldn't like it, some of it that is? but then again maybe I would like it. :dunno: depends on the beats, hooks, and riffs, cuz I am pretty intense when judging bands for music and lyrics. some have great hooks, melody, beats, riffs and so forth but have pretty shitty vocals & likewise vice versa.

Man it's great to see there's still some kids gettin into metal. I'm in my early 40's now but I still listen to Maiden,Priest, Saxon,The Ryche ( Tate rules ), Metalica ect. But my tastes have softened a little over the yrs though. I'm really into Chevelle now, Pete has an amazing voice, going from melodic to dry throat with no problem.
