Do you realize Obama wants to grant all illegals amnesty as they receive full welfare and many of whom don't work or ever intend to? Then these people produce system babies like rabbits and Obama wants to reward them with th e "Dream Act" that provides a free college education for offspring of illegals.
Please don't do this with my tax dollars!

The DREAM Act wouldn't necessarily give illegal immigrants a "free" education, but provides conduits for illegal immigrant minors to receive a legal permanent resident status by way of following the provisions required within the DREAM Act. After a certain period of time, though, illegal immigrants would be allowed to apply for certain state/federal grants for education, and at any time allows for them to apply for student loans. This is a pretty delicate line the Fed seems to be walking, and the fact that the DREAM Act, in one incarnation or another, has been introduced several times in the past decade, makes it seem unlikely that this bill will ever be enacted, but who knows. My main concern about the DREAM Act is the fact that it could potentially take enrollment opportunities away from citizens.

You gave eloquent details, however it still amounts to free education for the children of illegal immigrants.
No, no I agree. That's why I said that it wouldn't "necessarily," provide for free education. Its not one of the specific provisions of the bill, of course, but in reality the potential is very real.
And just for reference, as long as we have children of non-taxpaying illegal immigrants attending public colleges, or high/middle/elementary schools they already are receiving free education provided by a system that they don't pay into.

You have one party in America: the capitalist party. The fact that Democrats and Republicans were once Democrat-Republicans i.e the same party might give a clue OR that both words mean the same thing. Or, people believe that rich black people care about poor black people. How naive can one be?
Either don't vote or form a third party. I never want to hear another political debate on TV or radio about US politics again. American politics is now as reputable as the Mafia when it comes to trust.
