Who's seen these films, and what did you think of them?
Personally, I found The Hustler to be quite excellent. Where it's decidedly bleakness was used to it's overall effect. Needless to say ... Paul Newman, Jackie Gleason, Piper Laurie, and others were all top notch in this classic film.
With The Color of Money, it's not quite what The Hustler was, but in it's defense, I dont believe it ever truly wanted to be. The film is definately lighter in tone than that of it's predecessor, with quite a few memorable lines as well.
