I think Hef feels ill-content about dying a bachelor. Why else would he feel the need to get married at his age to a gold-digger?

I think he got engaged for the publicity. I have a hard time believing these young ladies really want an 84 year old boyfriend. They want to be centerfolds. I guess it benefits both him and the women he pretends to date.
