Paul Thomas Anderson describes watching a porn film which went on to inspire "Rollergirl" in "Boogie Nights". Here's his description:
“There was a girl on roller skates...and the plot was that she’s rollerskating down the street and stopping at each house, looking in the window, and watching everybody fuck. That was the plot. And that’s where I got Rollergirl from!”
