Farah (Prince of Persia)

As the daughter of the Maharajah, Farah grew up in luxury, yet she was also trained with a bow, as well as being a confident athlete.

Farah's life was turned upside down when her father's Vizier betrayed them to Sharaman of Persia. Hiding from the invaders, she observed them taking the Dagger of Time and the Sands of Time. She was then captured as a slave and brought to Azad. She witnessed the Prince's opening of the Hourglass in Azad, and tried to prevent him, but was stopped by Sharaman's guards.

The Sands of Time were unleashed, sparing only the Prince, the Vizier, and Farah, who was protected by her Medallion.

Eventually, the Prince and Farah were forced by circumstance to work together, eventually forming a close bond. They still did not completely trust each other, and when they finally found the Hourglass, the Prince's hesitation caused both of them to fall into the catacombs.

In the catacombs, Farah used an incantation kakolookiyam which she had been taught by her mother, and which opened a doorway out. However, after seducing the Prince into a bath, Farah stole the Dagger of Time and attempted to reach the Hourglass herself, eventually falling to her death from the Tower of Dawn.

However, the Prince performed a Grand Rewind, which returned time to the point prior to the Vizier's betrayal and brought Farah back to life. The Prince told her the story of what would happen if the Vizier was allowed to betray them.

The Vizier himself soon arrived and was slain by the Prince, who returned the Dagger of Time to Farah. When asked who he really was and why he had invented such a fantastic story, the Prince replied, 'Just call me: Kakolookiyam.', thus proving the truth of his tale.

Eventually however, Farah's memory of this tale was erased when the Prince once again interferred with the Timeline, making it as if the Sands of Time had never existed. This event backfired on him however, as it resurrected the Vizier, who was drawn to Babylon by the Dagger of Time, after killing the Maharajah and enslaving Farah. He then transformed himself into Zurvan, the God of Time.

Eventually, Farah was accidentally freed by the Prince, and they began to work together, though she was unaware of their past history, the two fall deeply in love with each other. During this time, the Prince was battling with the entity known as The Dark Prince, and his actions furthered him from Farah, who was disgusted by his callousness. They separated, and Farah was eventually caught by Zurvan, who planned to transform her into a Sand Queen.

The Prince defeated Zurvan, but was drawn into a mental nightmare by the Dark Prince. Farah's words managed to draw him from the darkness of his mind. She then asked the Prince how he had known who she was at their first encounter. The Prince then began to tell her the tale of the past, beginning with his visit to the Maharajah's palace.

Celes Chere (Final Fantasy VI)

Little is known of Celes's early life, but it is suggested that she was born and raised in Vector, and she was given to Cid Del Norte Marquez as a Magitek knight. She was one of the first to undergo the refined Magitek infusion. Kefka Palazzo was the first one to undergo the infusion, but the elementary process he went through caused him to become a twisted madman. Celes, unlike Kefka, remains sane and is described as having "a spirit as pure as snow". Celes spent the rest of her childhood in the service of the Empire and was trained as a Magitek soldier. Celes seems to have progressed through the ranks quickly. Despite her essentially good nature, she considers herself a soldier first and foremost and committed some terrible atrocities as a Magitek Knight, such as torching Maranda.

Genetically enhanced and artificially infused with magic, she is the general of the Gestahlian Empire before she joins Terra Branford's party. The circumstances of her betrayal of the Empire are never made clear, but Kefka's poisoning of Doma is cited as a reason. It is reasonable to assume that it is Kefka whom she questioned, and was ultimately jailed by, but this is never officially revealed. Eventually, Locke Cole rescues her from a basement under the rich man's house in South Figaro by picking the lock on her handcuffs, because she reminded him of his deceased girlfriend, Rachel. She has been imprisoned there for alleged treason against the Empire and was scheduled to be executed by the next day.

Celes has the unique ability to use a magic spell known as Runic. When she uses Runic, the next spell cast by an ally or an enemy is absorbed by Celes's sword, and she recovers an amount of magic power equal to the casting cost of the spell.

Lucy Stillman (Assassin's Creed I & II)

Lucy Stillman is an assassin and genetic-memory researcher. She was a research assistant for Dr. Warren Vidic. She had been working for Abstergo Industries for three years, focusing on the Animus project. Dr. Warren Vidic considered her as an invaluable asset for Abstergo for her intelligence and knowledge in cognitive neuro-science and values her highly, although he does not express it.

During her university career, Lucy was ostracised for her scientific beliefs and theories. The criticism continued after university- no scientific organization or academic institute would employ her. Desperate, she was almost ready to give up science altogether. Then she received a call from Dr. Vidic, who told her he agreed with her theories and offered her the chance to work for Abstergo and to prove her theories to be true. The beliefs she was criticized for may have regarded genetic memory. Lucy is portrayed to be knowledgeable about the Animus, so it's likely that, because of her feelings on genetic memory, Vidic contacted her so she could contribute to the creation of the Animus.

Lucy also reveals to Desmond Miles that he is not the only person Abstergo is detaining - she too is a captive. She then tells him a story about how a while back, Abstergo decided to silence her to keep her from speaking about the Animus, but before her assailants could commit her murder, they were ordered to stop by Dr. Warren Vidic. She claims that he saved her life that day, and she tells Desmond not to judge Dr. Vidic so harshly, as he is under a lot of pressure.

In contrast with her boss Warren Vidic's personality, Lucy is an optimistic and cheerful woman with a bright personality. She always has some encouraging words and sympathy towards Desmond Miles, though it obviously irritates him sometimes. At times when Warren Vidic attempts to force Desmond to go deeper to the Animus memory, Lucy will stop him from going and plead with Vidic to let Desmond to rest, showing her caring personality.

Name: Matriarch Benezia

Game: Mass Effect

Occupation: Matriarch

Home: Noveria

Matriarch Benezia was a very powerful asari biotic and spiritual leader among her people. She was also Liara T'Soni's mother, though the two had not spoken in years. When the evidence that proved Saren Arterius was responsible for the Eden Prime attack also proved Benezia was working alongside him, it surprised those who knew her, as Benezia's actions seemed to be completely out of character.

Given her status as a matriarch, Benezia must have lived for almost a millennium. She was known and revered as a teacher of religion and philosophy. When she was in the 'matron' phase of her life, Benezia had a daughter, Liara T'Soni. Unusually Benezia mated with another asari, considered a faux pas in their society. (After discovering their ability to mate with any species, asari consider producing offspring with their own kind as wasteful because "nothing is gained" from pureblooded asari offspring.) Liara tells Commander Shepard that she doesn't know who Benezia chose as her partner; she and her mother never discussed Liara's second parent, and Liara believes Benezia may have been ashamed of her choices. She raised Liara alone - not an uncommon occurrence in asari society - and was amused when Liara chose to study Prothean archaeology, a minor rebellion against her forward-thinking mother.

According to Liara, Benezia felt that the asari should have a greater role in shaping galactic events. She was Saren Arterius' executor and a fellow Binary Helix investor. Somehow Benezia discovered Saren's plan to aid the Reapers, and decided to try and guide him down a less destructive path. Benezia gave her followers a choice - only those who were willing had to accompany her. Many refused because they thought her plan was too dangerous, but others, including Shiala, believed in her. With their help Benezia tried to dissuade Saren from his insanity.

Benezia, who had used her incredible mental strength to keep a part of her mind free of indoctrination, managed to break from Saren's control very briefly. She described the horrors of indoctrination, how it feels to be trapped in your own mind: "beating upon the glass as your hands torture and murder..." She gave Shepard the coordinates for the Mu Relay, though she couldn't tell the commander any more of Saren's plan, and warned of Sovereign's incredible power before the indoctrination began to overcome her. Benezia managed to tell Liara that her daughter had always made her proud, but finally turned on Shepard and the squad were forced to kill her. As she lay dying, she claimed not to see the light promised in asari religion.

After Noveria, Shepard can talk to Liara about what happened, but Liara claims she is all right. She prefers to remember Benezia as she was: a kind, beautiful woman who loved her.

Nicole Brennan (Dead Space)

Nicole sends a distress call to Isaac, prompting him to join the crew of the USG Kellion. Throughout Isaac's trek across the doomed vessel, she sends him messages, often ending with "I love you" or "Make Us Whole Again." Logs also show her increasing stress as the situation aboard the ship deteriorates.

In Chapter 11, Isaac finally meets up with her in person after Kendra Daniels reveals herself to be a government agent and takes off with the Marker. The two call a shuttle to the Ishimura and descend to the planet's surface to retrieve the Marker and replace it on the pedestal. Isaac leaves Nicole on the shuttle as he sets the Marker, but is confronted by Daniels, who accuses him of going insane. As proof, she replays Nicole's distress call in its entirety. After her final "I love you," Nicole overdosed to avoid falling prey to the Necromorphs. Isaac had been under the influence of the Marker the entire time, which had caused Isaac to hallucinate his fallen love in order to trick him into replace the Marker to calm the Hive Mind.

Upon defeating the Hive Mind and replacing the Marker, Isaac boards a shuttle and leaves both Aegis VII and the Ishimura behind. As he sits in the darkness, he hears a rustling and turns to see a Necromorph, with Nicole's likeness, lunging at him. Whether this was really Nicole or another hallucination is unknown. (During the attack it shows runic markings [from the Marker] similar to the ones seen on monitors when Isaac sees hallucinations of Nicole. This might mean that it's an hallucination, or was simply added to make it far more disturbing). The Executive Producer of the game has confirmed that Isaac is still alive, implying that Nicole was either a hallucination or Isaac managed to fight the Necromorph off.

However, it should be noted as significant that Isaac was initially locked out of the pilot compartment of the shuttle, and then the door inexplicably unlocked on its own. This would seem to imply that Nicole herself unlocked it for him, thus indicating she wasn't a hallucination.

Nicole is first seen as the main purpose of Isaac's arrival on the Ishimura. She is seen in a video stating that she wants Isaac to come to the Ishimura; Her body language and voice shows that she is in desperation and fearful. On board the Ishimura, Nicole shown to be stressed dealing with the infection on board, whether this is before she meets McNeil or not is unknown. The hallucinations Isaac faces may or may not be her personality. In the end she succumbs to all the stress dealing with both the infection and attack of the Necromorphs. She commits suicide around two to three hours before Isaac's arrival.

Kendra Daniel (Dead Space)

Kendra Daniels is a technology specialist, and one of the five crew members of the USG Kellion who crash land on the USG Ishimura. Shortly after, the crew are attacked by the Necromorphs, Kendra is separated from Isaac at first, escaping certain death with Hammond. Later she and Hammond are attacked by a leaper on the bridge, splitting her and Hammond up. Later she manages to barricade herself in the Ishimura's computer core. From there, Kendra keeps in contact with Isaac Clarke and Zach Hammond through their RIG links, using her considerable computer skills to assist Isaac and Hammond in their tasks around the ship, including by overriding secured doors through much of the ship, as well as to help uncover the mystery behind the vessel's infestation. She frequently expresses distrust of Hammond, suspecting he knows more about the Marker then he lets on, and is generally much more frantic than both Hammond and Isaac, often urging them to abort the mission and focus on escape. Later on in the game, the Marker's influence begins to take its toll on Kendra, causing hallucinations. She says that she keeps seeing her brother, even though "it's not possible", hinting that he is dead or simply he does not live on the ship.

Towards the end of the game, Kendra is forced to leave her position in the computer core of the USG Ishimura, to head to the escape shuttle with Isaac and Terrence Kyne; however, secretly she had already done this and was positioned inside the escape shuttle. As Isaac prepares to board the ship, Kendra shoots Dr. Kyne in the chest with a divet pistol, in order to secure the Marker. Dr. Kyne bleeds out on the floor and Kendra takes off, leaving Isaac by himself. While on the shuttle, Kendra (through her RIG link) reveals herself to be a covert agent, who was specially selected by 'higher ups' to be onboard the USG Kellion mission. She also tells the true origin of the Marker, and its purpose. Kendra bids Isaac farewell, but Nicole Brennan brings Isaac to recall the stolen shuttle. Kendra's ship is then pulled back into the USG Ishimura landing bay; but Kendra activates an escape pod, and lands on the Aegis VII colony. Isaac, with the guidance of Nicole, takes the Marker back to the colony and places it on its pedestal. Kendra then shows up and reveals to Isaac that Nicole is dead, and he too has been having hallucinations generated by the Marker. She then attempts to take the Marker back to the shuttle for transport to government custody. Isaac catches up to her, and she prepares to take off. Before she can depart, The Hive Mind smacks her away from the ship and onto the launch-pad. The tentacle then slams on her, knocking Kendra unconscious. It then rolls her across the pad and then throws her at the sharp corner of a wall, the force of the impact severing off one of her arms and one of her legs. Kendra's cardiac monitor then immediately goes off, signaling to Isaac that she is dead.

Therese and Jeanette (Tourette) Voerman

Jeanette, a Malkavian, is the game's signature character whose likeness is displayed on the game’s box. She can be found in Santa Monica at the Asylum club, which she runs with her twin sister Therese, the Baron of Santa Monica, a Malkavian who fancies herself a Ventrue, as evidenced by her lofty attitude and hatred for the Nosferatu. They share an interesting love-hate relationship and, as the player eventually discovers, the same body. Though it is never discovered which is the real personality, it was lightly suggested that this was Therese. The player is given the opportunity to either help destroy ("kill") one of these personalities or to help the two sisters reconcile and coexist peacefully. The resulting merged personality is referred to as Tourette in the game documentation. It is possible for characters of either gender to sleep with Jeanette, depending upon the choices made by the player in dealing with her, the most important of which is to ensure Jeanette survives intact. It's also possible for Therese, alone, to be saved. "They" are voiced by Grey DeLisle.

Christie Monteiro (Tekken Series)

Age: 19 Ethnicity: Brazilian caporeira student
Christie Monteiro (クリスティ・モンテイロ, Kurisuti Monteiro?) is the granddaughter of the Capoeira master who taught Eddy Gordo the art of Capoeira during his incarceration in prison. While in prison, Eddy swore an oath to the Master to pass on the art of Capoeira to his granddaughter.

Eddy sought out Christie shortly after his return from King of Iron Fist Tournament 3, and taught her the art of Capoeira, just as he promised his master. After only two years of tutelage, Christie became an impressive fighter. But soon thereafter, Eddy abruptly disappeared, leaving Christie only with the words, "I must seek vengeance against the enemy responsible for the death of my father." Troubled by his sudden and mysterious disappearance, Christie pursues Eddy. Her only lead — The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4.

Christie's grandfather, a great Capoeira master, was released from prison after a long incarceration. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with an incurable illness, and he was given only six months to live, but a cure might be possible with possessing the technology from the Mishima Zaibatsu. Several days later, Christie learns of The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5. She sees it as a chance to save her grandfather, believing that if she possesses the advanced technology of the Mishima Zaibatsu, she may be able to find a cure for him.

Christie entered The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5 hoping to save the life of her grandfather. She was defeated and went home to Brazil. Upon her arrival, she finds out that not only is her grandfather missing, but Eddy, as well.

Disappointed and baffled to the location of both Eddy and her grandfather, she learns from the hospital where her grandfather was staying that he was transferred to the Mishima Zaibatsu's medical facility. In order to find the exact location of her grandfather, Christie enters The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6.

During development of Tekken 3, the designers noted that Capoeira's movements were more suitable for a female character. As a result they included Christie instead of Eddy Gordo in Tekken 4, feeling they had made an attractive female character that could utilize the fighting style.[21]

GameDaily listed her in their "Babes of Tekken" article, stating "When it comes to Tekken, no character moves as gracefully as Christie ".[22] She additionally appeared in their "Babes We're Thankful For" article, stating while attractive, "she can break a guy's arms and legs in seconds. We love a girl that stands up for herself
