I would guess it depends where you are. I think the majority of ethnic groups date within their own group. It's just that for various reasons (social interaction, laws, etc.) that one sees different groups dating one another. I think people are used to seeing things homogenous. Let's say there are a group of birds. All of the birds are blue except one is green, the green one will stand out. That green bird is the mixed couple. If a person is single, then it's more apparent.
I do not intend for it to be racial. I am simply pointing out a growing trend.
Incidentily it is only considered racist if the black man is mentioned.
Had the tables been turned and black women wete datimg white men, and this question was posted by a black man, it would not be considered racist.

White is a race? The days of people marrying someone just because they are the same colour are gone now, people are rightfully picky nowadays and there are a number of factors that determine who people want to date/marry. And believe it or nor some people don't care for race and it simply isn't an issue, rather than assume white women are avoiding white men on purpose maybe the man they were attracted to just happened to be black or asian and that simply isn't an issue for them.
