I like this feature. If anyone has a problem with it appearing when you go to your profile it's as simple as clicking one of the other tabs i.e. visitor message or friends to change it temporarily. I don't see the problem with it at all.
Also, I have hundreds of threads I had subscribed to and I haven't had any problems with the notifications towards them. Maybe I'm just lucky or something.

I was noticing that there were posts with "Update" marked in them; below the original post, there would be an exact duplicate post with "Update" written directly below the original. At first I thought it was a way of identifying edits. But then it happened to me today when I made an original post with no edits. The board was also very slow today when posting threads and replies in some cases. I'm using Firefox on a Mac, but it also happened when I used Safari on the Mac and Firefox in Windows XP.

They´re still looking in to it, seems that it was trickier than expected to find out whats going wrong here.
The reason the smilies got fixed was because it was easy to sort out, the remaining issues still require more work though.
So be patient little grasshopper, it will be sorted out... eventually.

The problem boils down to this: The moment the board works perfectly the tech support guys know that their job is expendable.
Just like Scotty on Star Trek. He always exaggerated the problem. He'd double the estimated repair time and look like a miracle worked when he fixed it in half that.

Today i got an e-mail notification that i had gotten a new PM, but when i checked my PM inbox there wasn´t any new PM´s. I deleted the e-mail and didn´t read it before i visited the board, so i don´t know if there actually was a real PM or if it just was some sort of technical glitch.
It was probably for an old PM. I'm still getting a few PM's, but almost all are for PM's and posts that are days and/or weeks old. I've even got some multiple emails in regards to the same post(s).

Yeah, sorry about that, turns out the reason no one got any updates was because of a backlog in the mail queue, this one is now churning through and should be done very shortly, unfortunately i have no way of stopping this to clear it out instead of having it send out all the emails.

Yep, I got 307 alerts. I hope it's not like last time where it went on for about 2 weeks straight.
I just got 10, and I have all alerts turned off... :eek:

If I click on the link in the email, I get this: Invalid Redirect URL (http://www.glassmannequin.com/webma...mailbox=INBOX&passed_id=152573&startMessage=1)
If I copy and past the link it works - probably something on my end but it has worked fine in the past.
