I just hear a newsstory about the possibility to make "silent" pardons that are not made public.
This would mean that a president keeps this document with the pardon as a (Ta-Da!) trump in his pocket for occasions when he has to face a trial and sentence. Nice thing if you can get it.

Interesting concept. After a little research, it would be unusual and subject to adjudication.

The dam that broke on the 6th of January was the catalyst for a lot of groups that formerly just made smaller-scale actions, I think. More of them will escalate the aggressions and attack the symbols of what they see as the enemy.
But - as the FBI and Homeland Security, etc. already are busy do - one after the other of those who brake laws will be brought to justice. Those that just did will simply get a serious talking-to, those that "went hardcore", I'll call it, will get prison sentences, get on no-fly lists, and other punishments. It will take time, but these groups will thin out.

I guess you deserve some credit for having the balls to post here again, after hiding with your tail between your legs for so long. But maybe you should try to find something that's not completely ridiculous, assuming you have some beliefs that aren't? We're all watching Biden right now, and so far, he's on fire. That may change and I'm sure if it does the unity and healing crowd will jump right on it, but based on current events, accusing Biden of being slow and senile makes as much sense as accusing him of being a 6 year old Japanese girl. I wonder how that would work. I mean I wonder how they could prove when the pardon actually occurred if there was never an open public record of it. Couldn't a prosecutor just claim absent of evidence proving the timing that the pardon it could of just been made up the day before the guy got to court in a case like this even if it's years removed from when it could of actually occurred? It seems like a dangerous risk to try and pull off. Even if there is some official but non-public record of it somewhere what would keep a person like Biden from just throwing it in the fireplace and claiming they don't have it or at least going public about it's existance, other than the honor system?

As far as Biden is concerned all the nice flowery talk is good and all, but he doesn't just a free pass because he's not Trump. He has to actually get to work making the American people's lives substantially better. For me just being another Bill Clinton or Obama isn't going to cut it with how badly poor people are hurting right now.

They already reneged on their Promise of $2,000 stimulus checks. Now they're saying it's $1,400 plus the $600. SMFH. They literally won two senate seats by making that Promise. Yesterday was nice and all but now it's time to actually get to work. Progressives need to continue to put pressure on this administration and if need be hold them accountable.

Are you really suggesting that returning Loeffler and/or Perdue would have been better for the progressive cause?

Biden was ready for day one. The ship is so far off course it will take a little while to get it back on track. If you really believe in the progressive cause, I'm not sure what your complaint is right now. A liberal moderate who is sympathetic to the progressive cause is much better than the alternative. Having Schumer as SML is much better than having McConnell.
