Hello everybody,
This will be long, so bear with me!
I am new to this site. Actually, before I posted this, I perused through the search engine results about lube on this site. For what I'm looking for, none of the threads sufficed. So, I am going to give you all a description of the problem, and hopefully some of you will be able to give me, at least, a semi-detailed solution. The obvious problem is that I need a good lube. Why? Well, normally I would not divulge the following information to any random passer-by, but if there is any forum for such a discussion it is this one.
As we all know, masturbation is not a perfect art, nor are the various methods to do it. As embarrassing as it is, and as horribly stupid as it makes me feel, I can honestly say I physically injured my cock while jacking off. As far as penile injuries go, I would say this is not on the extreme side of things, and my urologist has reiterated that (which is a little reassuring). But, as all of you know, if something, be it ANYTHING, is wrong with one's "manhood," especially physically (and I am not really talking about size here, as most men are conscious about that), then one's ego becomes shot. What happened, without going into gory details, is this: a couple of days before, I just went on a date with a smokin hot girl, and I really liked her, so my sex drive was going haywire. The day of the "incident" I must have jacked off a good 6 or some times, much more than usual for me. At about the 6th time, I had run out of lube, and the dreaded decision was upon me: to jack or not to jack - that was the question.
Of course, I made the wrong decision
, and it has easily been one of the worst decisions I have made in my lifetime, and certainly the worst decision I have made in the past 3 years. I jerked it so hard that the skin, well, I won't go any further than that. Let's just say it was bad; it IS bad. So bad, in fact, that I have been too self-conscious to go on a date, or go on the prowl, let alone have sex (and it has been a LONG fucking time). I felt really emasculated for a long time and, to put it bluntly, it fucked my shit up.
Now, after seeing the urologist for the 4th time since this has happened, I feel very reassured that I will be able to have sex again, because for a long time, I thought I would never be able to without re-injuring myself. More importantly, he has no doubt whatsoever, that I will be able to partake in rough sex again (the best kind). So that is all fine and dandy. Why am I on here telling you all this then? Well, firstly, assuming that there are some jack-off aficionados on here, I thought there might be at least one or a couple of you that have experienced some kind of damage, whether that be from rough sex or rough masturbation. Furthermore, if any forum could sympathize with my current problem, it would be this one too. But most importantly, I am sure some of you out there know the scoop on the best lubes and their pros and cons.
My urologist said to me, what I really need right now, because he can't expect me to stop masturbation all-together, is a good lube. He said I need to bag the lotion, as it is not lubricated enough, and get a good water-based lube - water-based specifically. Since I talked with him and he reassured me, I made the stupid decision of not going out right away and buying something of the like, and promptly injured myself slightly further (LISTEN TO YOUR DOCTOR, THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT - most of the time).
So what do I need from you guys? The following:
- Your suggestions on which lube you think is the best
- Why you think it is the best, with some reasonable amount of detail
- The pros and cons of this particular lube
- IT MUST BE WATER-BASED
- Where the best place to find it would be (in terms of cheapness)
If you got through all of my blabbering and take the time to write a usable response, I thank you in advance. I have, more or less, come to terms with this problem. I am not totally misshapen now, or anything; but, more than anything, I just feel like a dumbass. As my urologist said, "the penis is not a perfect organ and can get injured easily." After this experience, I agree with that statement 100%. I suppose my advice to all of you, if you have not already had some kind of related problem, is never take the chance of NOT using lube. Hopefully, with your help, I will be able to find a lube that works for me, and I can let this swelling go down and get back to a place where I feel confident enough to fuck again.
This will be long, so bear with me!
