The best bicycle

Who makes the best bicycles?

You would be better off buying EPO or learning about blood transfusions. This is based upon the last 15 years of results for the Tour De France top 10 finishers, its obvious its not really about the bike. Even for basic rides around your neighborhood image the few seconds you could shave with a little EPO!

:jk:

Good components are the main thing, shifters, derailleurs, rims, seat, a solid frame. I would go with something with at least Shimano Ultegra groupset or Sram Force groupset, either of those or anything above given your budget and you wont be disappointed. The name on the frame is not as important as the component set IMHO.

Ok, so you say that the bicycle can be assembled in different parts if you want the best result.

But what kind of bike would you recommend for ordinary people?

Yes you can piece together a bike however you desire.

What do you want to accomplish with the bike? Racing, Road riding, Trail Riding, Treking, Touring, etc... do you need a Road bike, a Hybrid, etc... How much do you plan to ride... etc..

I want a bike that is very primitive and comfortable.

I do not drive off-road, but the bike should be suitable for winter conditions.

I use the bike when I go to work so you can say that I am a cyclist. :sheep:

Ok so you need either a road bike or hybrid probably or even a touring bike. For winter conditions your tires will generally need to be wider for increased safety and stability, so I would guess a hybrid would be more suitable as generally they allow for wider tire configurations. A good hybrid can be used for road riding no problem and can be configured much like road bike but giving you more upright seating position and straight handle bar. You could change your tires from road style tires to more seasonal treaded tires during the winter months as desired.

Ok so what type of bike do you currently have? Why do you need a different one, is there something wrong or unfulfilling with your present bike that you ride to work on?

@TomJolly what is her name?

-You are a true bicycle expert.

Is there any exact model what you could recommend?

-I have an old bike that does not even have the gears and I need new because it is heavy, rusty and ugly.

This kind of bike I have now;

Ummmm.... well if that is your current bike or like it, then you would be happy with probably any modern bicycle as an upgrade from that. Plus if your in Finland, then I would suggest looking at what others use to bike the same situations you desire such as commuting to work and snowy weather riding, talk to other cyclists, visit your local bike shop and have a professional at a bike shop properly fit you for a bike so you know what size to purchase, also discuss your intentions with the bike shop and find a bike thats right for you based upon your requirements. The name decal on the bike is not as important as the bikes components and does it match your requirements, needs and budget. You wont be disappointed if you do your research, however there is not much I can offer as I do not live in Finland and would not want to steer you astray, especially if your planning winter riding.

Bullshit...than explain how the Finnish Motorcycle Grand Prix from 1962-1982 that took place at the Tampere Circuit before they moved to Imatra.

En tiedä eikä kiinnosta! :mad:

I have never been interested in motorcycles so i do not know.

I do not like motorcycles and I hate especially Hell's Angels.
