You guys are making the Beatles sound like pansies. Helter Skelter is the closest thing to heavy metal before Black Sabbath. No one, not even Hendrix or The Who had tried anything so raucous – virtually screaming vocals, over distorted guitars, drums and backing vocals all threatening to drown each other out.
The greatness of the Beatles is that they wore so many hats. They were a boy band, mods, icons of the hippie movement, pioneers in recording, political campaigners, as well as being among the first to incorporate Eastern instruments in modern music.

Can You Hear Me Knocking(by far their best song,imo.Thank you Guitar Hero 2 for making me realize how good this song is
i agree. Can't You Hear Me Knocking, more than any of their other songs, shows what they (or at least that particular machination of the Stones) were capable of when they cut loose and just jammed. i've heard guitar hero leaves out bobby keys' saxophone solo, though. is that true?
