I was out with a bunch of friends bar hopping and a question came up. How would one, a newbie, someone who doesn't have any connections in the adult business or has even met a real life porn star , get to fully enjoy the AVN? For those who have gone to the AVN in the past, what did you do and how was your experience?

I've never been. But judging by a few videos i've seen on youtube it all depends when you go. The earlier you go the better the chance is to have some talk time with the pornstars, and you'll probably meet all of the one's you came to see. But when it gets busier, there seems to be a lot of waiting around, and the pornstars seem to be " hello, what to you want, right there you go. Next ". So my advice is to get there as early as possible, if you want to get the most out of the experience.
Thanks for the advice. You would think more, a lot more of us freeones forum members have gone to an AVN and had a great time but I guess not...

Anytime you are in Vegas you can have a great time and AVN/AEE adds to that.
I have been in booths signing for years and years and always had fun but it is geting much, much smaller. This can be good cause you may get more time to chat with your fave stars. No guarantee but I have been there and big names are just sitting there waiting for fans. Just be sure to check and see if they are attending first of course Lots of fun give aways like posters, sample DVD's etc...this wil be the first year it is held at the Hard Rock Casino and that place is great too. I am hoping for a good turn out. If you attend please stop by and say hi.

Just like I teach at my shows "Any animal with a mouth can bite" so yes I have. I'd say less than ten times in the 25+ years I have had snakes. Usually while I was medicating them after a rescue or if they were sick. At this time I have 22 snakes total. I have held snakes in my hands for thousands of hours. I'd like to add I know people that are bitten by their one pet dog more than that.
