The Ari Dee thread!

The age gap between her and Bruce is a little weird though.

I thought about that also, but then I realized it's kind of hard to pin down Selina's age in the show. There could be a wide range there from being still single digit in years to her being in her early teens. I could see them being around the same age. It doesn't help that Selina would be somebody that's already more mature than her age because of the circumstances she lives in making it even harder to figure out.

I don't know if they have ever come up with a set age for the two in the comics. I have always thought they were about he same age or maybe Batman was a few years older. In most modern canon I would have to guess Bruce is in his early to mid 30s with her maybe around there or a little younger. By that the television show is probably off.

Personally my favorite scene in any comic or movie between Bruce and Selina is in Dark Knight Returns when the Joker ties her up dressed as Wonder Woman (talk about OUCH!) when she's the madame of the brothel. It's so sad yet beautiful at the same time, they are clearly still very much in love, no matter what shitty cards life has handed them over the years.
The fact that she is so busted up and he still kisses her, I tear up just thinking about it. haha <3

As far as which one is the better significant other to Bruce it's Selina no contest. While I don't have a problem with Talia as a character, when it comes to everything that Batman represents and fights for I have a hard time seeing somebody like him being compatible with a person that's part of an evil group that wants to kill most of humanity to replace it with with themselves, a bunch of heartless trained killers, and that want to drag Bruce into being a part of that to lead them. I don't follow Batman as much as a lot of others, but as far as I know she also never has turned away from that let alone be repentant about it.

Selina on the other hand is just an extremely good cat burglar, perhaps the uber thief in all of fiction. In a city with some of the worst psychopaths on the planet what she does probably doesn't seem that bad by comparison, and she hasn't even been considered a true villain in the comics in the last three or four decades. When crap really hits the fan bad she will more often than not decide to do the right thing. I can see how Bruce would let some of the things she does slide. Plus, she just awesome.

I've just seen the second episode and am enjoying it so far.
SaLina Is put at 13 years old in the episode, btw. I think Bruce was 10 but I could be mistaken.

Hey everyone!!

Sorry I haven't been able to be around very much to post.
Just wanted to stop by and give you some small updates about me.
I've been very busy with the holidays and random personal happenstances, and my sweet kitten, Sorsha suffered from a freak accident on Halloween. So I've been spending all my time at home taking take care of her as we await surgery to try and repair a badly injured leg. She's been a very sweet girl though and I'm proud! It's been amazing to see my friends and fans come together to support me trying to give her the best care possible.

On the positive side of news, I am an XBIZ Web Star of the Year nominee, which is very exciting for me!!
(I assume it's okay to post that here since it's an industry award from a porn news source and not a conflicting porn forum)
I'm pretty excited just to have an excuse to wear a ridiculously sex dress to an awards ceremony in January and be surrounded by tons of super hot babes.. I know there are lots of other FreeOnes ladies nominated this year too!

Since I'm mostly stuck at home I've just been spending lots of time updating TheAriDee.com, camming and doing fetish work.

Aww, that's awesome to hear!
They wanted to amputate her leg at first because they thought all her nerves were severed, but I have seen her move the wrapped arm several times and she's reacted to my touch/ bandage changing so I'm very optimistic that surgery will be a success

I really feel the support, Jitna Just kidding, just kidding.
I'm sad to see some people being negative towards her and towards the XBIZ noms in general in that thread.
I know I'm going to lose so I just want to be excited for the nomination. I think a lot of guys underestimate how much this can actually mean to some of us. Getting a little recognition for our years of hard work is super nice!!
