Yeah, "shit happens" - I guess it only makes sense that he was driving 126mph when it wasn't necessary, using his cell while doing so, killed 2 young girls (and seriously injured 2 others), and has thus far paid no real penalty for it - unless you consider RESIGNING from your job a penalty.

You should elaborate on your "shit happens" theory so perhaps it can become a legal theory that can be applied by judges in the court system. As long as a judge has common sense (and we all know that's a basic requirement for that job) there will be no problems with how that works out.

Don't even get me started on how much I dispise people that text or even talk on their cell phone while driving. One time I saw this girl texting while driving with a baby in the car and yelled at her and said "You are worse then Hitler". Anyways this loser should get nothing, how dare he ask for any handouts or any sympathy. Actually this guy should go straight to Hell and have Hitler shove pineapples up his ass.

Isn't texting while driving illegal in some/all states? And if it isn't, why? I mean this guy is an officer, he's supposed to do whats right. Now he doesn't do the right thing in the first case, which resulted in two dead little girls. Now he has the chance to maybe do something decent to console the grieving family but instead he's concerned about only himself. Lock the a-hole up, he doesn't deserve to live after murdering those two little girls.
