Looking for a woman's perspective on this as I'm in a bit of a bind.
I found someone to date through a dating website about 6-7 months ago. After the first couple of weeks we switched from emailing to texting. It took a little while but we then got to phone calls, but now we're back to texting again.
I've been trying to get an actual date, but to no avail. We now seem to be stuck in a text relationship, even though she lives just 15 miles away. I think she's into me but, given that she keeps avoiding the issue of an actual date, I'm confused as to whether or not I should keep at it or just cut my losses.
I really like this girl, even though she can be hard work (she's told me she's high maintenance and hard to please, and she's definitely no Stephen Hawking, but she can be sweet and is extremely sexy), but I've been out of the dating game for nearly a decade, so am wondering if this extended period of texting without an actual date is normal these days...
So ladies, I'm wondering if this is the way people date thse days?
