Back in 2016 the loony left were peddling the bullshit that Texas could go blue that year.
The Democrats have to defend over 20 senate seats in November. They may flip one or 2 seats but I doubt Texas will be one of them. Push polling in Austin, Houston, SATX and parts of DFW can get you the results you want.

Ahhh, I had been wondering what O'Rourke thought about the caravan. Not surprising that he opted to be a pussy and have no comment. He knows that before the elections, it could seriously backfire if he were to miscalculate and grow some balls and flat out say that he's FOR the caravan shitholes making it here and being allowed in as he's tempted to say. He'd much rather prefer to wait until AFTER the elections to voice his opinion. Of course, by then he won't want to give an opinion after having lost. IF O'Rourke ever gives a statement regarding the caravan before the elections, it'll no doubt be just some double talk about immigration, asylum and shit ... without actually answering the question.
What's there to think about? Cruz had no trouble giving his opinion on the caravan. He said it with balls, loudly and proudly without stuttering.
As to the O'Rourke texts? I don't know how true it is, but the local News here CLAIMED that what O'Rourke did was totally legal because if the dialing was done by actual humans it was OK. And the biased News claim it wasn't automated systems doing the texting. I hope it gets officially declared that he did break the law and gets fined a shitload.
You gotta admit, this is kinda funny. He and every dem is Texas must be jealous of any Texan GOP politician because their position is not only popular but cut & dry. On the other hand, dems can't take a stance either way so they're screwed no matter what they say.
I wonder if Ted will capitalize on this and call him out on not being decisive. If you don't have a position on literally thousands of illegals threatening to cross over into your state, then how can you even pretend to be a leader of that state?

He'd look bad in the eyes of his supporters in the process ... and lose votes in the process. And coming out and flat out declaring he's IN FAVOR of the caravan stands a high probability of being the last nail in the coffin. So he's screwed either way. He's gotten himself into a very precarious corner.
