you obviously havent seen the movie charlie wilson's war. it explains why afghanistan hates us. basically because after we supplied them the weapons to fight the soviets, and drove the commies back, we left them. they asked for our help to build their country but american basically said naah, we're just too good for you and frankly its rather embrassing to have helped you people, thus sending afghanistan to its dark ages all awhile the people were shooting up smack and the taliban growing ever so bold. we're to blame why afghanistan is the way it is :thumbsup:

To all those that think the US was in no way responsible for the dire straits that Afghanistan is in today, you only have to ask yourself why doesn't Hollywood make films about the Afghan war(s) rather than about Romans, Troy and the Spartans etc? It's a topic that will simply not show the US in a good light if you look at the factual history, the only US movie about Afghanistan that I know of is The Beast which concentrates solely on a Russian Tank Crew and shows them as brutal oppressors whilst not mentioning any US involvement watsoever (if my memory serves me correct). Take a minute to think about that :2 cents:

Thank you for clearing that up for us. If the rest of us would just watch more movies we would al have a crystal clear vision of what is really going on in the world.

they should track down and pay big money to find anyone who had anything to do with that...take them out in the ocean and feed the sharks. would hate to know i had to face my maker one day..and try to justify hanging a 7 year old......GOD HELP US ALL
