Me and the wife are up in San Francisco now and we found this great Chinese place in Chinatown named Hunan Home's Restaurant. We got Hot 'n' Sour Soup, Egg Rolls, Wontons in Spicy Chili Sauce, Sizzling Beef, and Chicken with Green Beans. We were hungry and ate it all.

When in the Frisco and you want to eat at the Chink's march on over to Hunan Home's Restaurant!

Vaguely races and delicious. The other night I had all you can eat Korean BBQ at this douchey hipster place on Spring Mountain Rd. And I ate in the company of a really pretty young woman visiting from South Korea. She loved it. But not enough to smooch my boner.

Pan fried burgers.

When I try out a Chinese restaurant, I get an appetizer of hot and sour soup first.

If it's good, the rest of the meal will be good.

If it sucks, I say I have something urgent and have to leave.

Only out the price of the soup.

Never fails.

I AM going to start buying my meat from another place. They gave me this large cut to make 3 meals from. Looked nice but...

Broiled a piece and Jaws couldn't chew through that piece. I should have looked for whip marks from the jockey before I bought it. The baked potato saved the meal. The other 2 steaks are going into White Devil sauce this weekend.

I would probably put that in a big vat of chili....but a long slow dose of garlic, and tomato acid, will soften up any stubborn cow.

BRILLIANT! I was looking for something else to bring to my brother's BBQ this weekend besides potato salad. That market may not have the best steaks but they sure as shit have the chilies o' plenty.

(Where would you like me to softly touch you?)

Give me that chili recipe and I'll touch where you keep that wallet with my cheek.

Tuna noodle casserole tonight. Mostly for lunches at work. White devil sauce starts in the morning to smell and taste during the Mets game.

Actually it's my moms sauce. Her name was Phyllis....well, Phyllisha, since her mother was from Sicily, and came here in like, 1904, but my Aunts were the only ones that called her that. She used to pick the garden clean, and make it all from scratch over the course of a day or so. Pasta, sauce, roasted peppers, bread, and eggplant parm. My house always smelled like home cooking.

Rain in the forecast squashed the BBQ so White Devil sauce was a go. Not to wait for a thaw and pounding of the steaks, I threw the thicker ones into the caldron with some water and red wine vinegar. Didn't take long on simmer to break them down. Reserved some of the broth. Cans and meat went in with some more tough frozen steaks and let the vat do it's work with some spices and sugar.

Hour by hour tasting for spicing and adding reserved broth for gradual thinning. The vinegared pieces were completely disintegrated while the second batch of meat softened nicely broke into chunks. Tasting it all day with some bread was supper.

Some great Persian Food on Westwood Bl at Shamshiri Grill. Got the Beef Shamshiri which is a combination of Beef Barg & Beef Koobideh with roasted tomatoes and onions and that delicious White & Yellow Basmati Rice.
