Sabrina seems to actually think about what she's discussing, very refreshing. Consider a few points...Subway did or didn't publish any explanation for removing standard product from it's FRANCHISE restaurants?
Muslims live in a sea of Jews and Christians , and Buddhists...by rights they should create their own shops for Halal...how many Subways in large Jewish pop areas remove pork and other nonKosher foods? Zero.

Like Halal, Kosher demands separate sinks, silverware and plates, etc; no meat may touch any area where dairy is or has been.

In the greater arena of world politics, Christians are not crusading and slaughtering Jews and Muslims, like 100s of years ago; Jews aren't slaughtering Christians or Muslims (like they never did for their entire history); Muslims are ripping babies, Moms, and whole families in their countries into liquefied corpses with marketplace bombings, airliner attacks, ********** and slaughter videos, etc; and they will gladly come to your home and **** you and yours ; all the wonderful benefits of sharing the planet with an active religion that promotes ****** for converting to any other religion, women chatting with non-related males; punishes any free speech they don't like with Fatwas (**** you when they find you thing), and they like coming into your house and ******* your *** and little ******.
No chilling effect there, I guess? No "*******" their religion on others with very real ******** as a consequence of NOT accepting Islam as supreme?

When a franchise chain removes product specifically unfavored by one violent religion the whole concept of a franchise is negated...knowing what to expect in each store. Removing an entire population from your customer base is NOT how the Franchise concept works. (Lovers of Ham, etc.)There are many more McDonalds than subway, do they refuse to sell Breakfast sammiches with ham in those areas? No, I guess not.

I have a car...I may be driving in an area and want lunch...I want a ham sammich...what? This subway caters to Muslims and I can't have a Ham ' n ' Cheese footlong? No Italian Cold Cut ?WTF?

The FOs base seems to delight in the nastiest verbal assault on all Christians and often throw Jews in there as well...yet FOs would no more allow the Bomb Turban cartoon of Mohammed posted than they would endorse AIDS for weight loss...BOOM! goes the office, and starting your car to go home takes on a whole new meaning.

There IS a very big problem with every slip and slide down that slope into Muslim appeasement.

You've missed the point, they've only introduced Halal menus in a small percentage of their stores where there is more than one store in a very small geographic location.
As for having a separate Kosher menu there isn't the demand in the UK. Our Jewish population is tiny compared to the Muslim populations in towns such as Bradford.
It's about supply and demand, and you'll probably find those subway outlets are run by Muslim franchisees.

Also to counter your argument that Christians aren't slaughtering people check out what's happening in central Africa.
