Jup! I've seen one quite similar in Berlin. His sign said "Brauche Spenden für Schnaps." ("Need donations for ******.")
Sad thing is, most people are so hypocritical that he'll probably get less money with honesty as if he'd just lie and write "Need money to pay alimony" on his sign.
