I would have to go with ..... The Shining.

I didn't see a few on the list. I voted for Pet Cemetery because it was as disturbing as hell. I thought a couple of the film adaptations--i.e. Cujo--sucked. There were a few non-scary but really entertaining films based on King's work. One that comes to mind is Stand By Me, which was based on the novella The Body from his Different Seasons book.

I've only seen Cujo, The Shining, Pete Cemetery, Dreamcatcherm neither was that scarey.

So the shining has taken the lead, followed by IT

Has anyone mentioned:

Children of the Corn
Cat's Eye
The Dead Zone
Firestarter

And why wasn't Eyes of the Dragon ever adapted into a movie/Tv movie?

I did,nt think very much of children of the corn, firestarter & the deadzone.
Ive nether heard of cat's eye is it a old one or new one ?

^^ Cat's Eye is older.
Anyway went with The Shining as well. Now if it was one of his books that would be a different story :yinyang:

Yeah i agree wit'cha.

1985. A trio of tales featuring James Woods, Drew Barrymore, Alan King, Robert Hayes and Kenneth MacMillan. Also has a macabre sequence of a cat being electrocuted and a cute goblin, it's also a masterpiece if you're trying to quit smoking.

King wrote tales from the darkside the movie the 1 when a hitman is hired to kill that black cat.
