What's even worse is the fact they haven't been as good as the people that like them think they have been in a long time now. Yet, they still get hyped like no other non-professional team ever has.

Duke doesn't have it's own network television contract with NBC to telecast it's games. It has actually been good for most of the time it was hyped and it hasn't been hyped as long as Notre Dame has.

football draws a lot more money than basketball.and notre dame is on nbc. i didnt know people watch nbc anymore. and they play michigan state and georgia tech. air force and army. navy too. whoopee. who still watches notre dame these days? duke still plays the top at least.

Legzman, I have a serious question for you. My FAVORITE team ever is Indiana University Hoosiers. I have been a die hard fan of theirs since I was 8.
With Notre Dame and IU both being in Indiana Are both of those teams covered extremely well by TV in either their respected areas or all over the state?

I dunno, but I hardly ever hear anything about the hoosiers! So I honestly doubt they are covered well all over the state. But it's not hard to find a notre dame game that's for damn sure!
Legz, I am assuming you live in the state of Indiana and most likely have traveled or been to most of the different regions.
Does it seem like most of the people in the state are pretty well split when it comes to Notre Dame, IU, Purdue, Evansville?

what? its the truth. :dunno: they completely suck now. they have one year out of three or four that they do good and they blow the bowl game. bible thumpers are loyal.

Why Juventus? I noticed that manyu people either love them or hate them, but I don't know the reasons why. I used to be a Juve fan until the match fixing crisis. Now i have to find a new favorite soccer team.
