South Park - Tom Cruise episode

lol "we are going to sue your ass and your balls"....great stuff

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
I hope in the process of writing him (Chef) out of the show, the character is killed off, so as to insure him never coming back. Tom Cruise is a pompous little fucktard that desperatly needs a bitch slapping to remind him he's only 4foot tall! This is the typical whiney half assed behavior he always pulls, and he's long since become a major pain in the ass to have to see.

It's great to see such deliberate slams at $cientology! Those fucks are very strange and scam people like no other.

IMO:
There's no difference between the (alleged) actions of Tom Cruise and the (actual) actions of those who made threats against the Danish cartoons depicting the prophet Muhammad.

btw Feelie, why was this episode banned over here?

This episode was supposed to air last week but got pulled at the last minute. apparently Issac Hayes had a heart attack which keeps him from the show.

Uh look up one post and check out the second article I posted.

Instead of the Tom Cruise episode, the network aired reruns of two "South Park" episodes featuring the character Chef, voiced by veteran soul singer Isaac Hayes, also a Scientologist, who quit the show earlier this week.
While Hayes cited the show's ridicule of religion generally as his reason for leaving the series, Stone said in a statement on Monday the soul singer was specifically upset about the "Trapped in the Closet" episode, which first aired last fall.

Its unfortunate, not to mention hypocritical, that Isaac Hayes quit because he felt Parker and Stone went too far in making fun of scientology. Hayes cashed a lot of big checks being part of shows that roasted everyone else....its too bad...Chef was one of the funniest people on TV.

I agree - if Isaac Hayes felt that badly about South Park's attitude towards religion, how could he had participated (since 1997) in a series that has Jesus Christ in its cast? I still like his music, but as a person? Meh....
As for Tom Cruise - as I've said in an earlier post, his attitude is no better than that of the Muslim fundamentalists towards the Muhammad cartoons.
I suspect though, that with his past idiotic actions, this incident could blow up in Tom's face and put his career in a tail-spin...

PS: there are some websites where you can d/l the episode, but I'm unsure of the legality of said sites.

I saw the episode when it was orginally aired. I also read all the news about whats going on but check out this new article. It seems in the premire Chef is back and they say in this article the creators used sound bites from Hayes and kinda made it seem like he is a part of the show still. I cant wait for the premire 2morrow I gotta see how they pull this off.

Hayes' Chef Sort of Returns on 'South Park'

Tue Mar 21, 8:28 PM ET

NEW YORK - "South Park" creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker vowed vengeance last week in their running battle with Scientology — and Wednesday night's new-season premiere appears to be the start.

Isaac Hayes may have left the animated satire in a huff over what he described as religious "intolerance and bigotry," but his Chef character, which he's voiced since 1997, isn't forgotten.

The Comedy Central cartoon begins its 10th season with an episode titled "The Return of Chef!" The character's return follows by just a few days Hayes' statement that he was quitting because he could no longer accept the show's satirical blasts at religion.

Stone and Parker quickly shot back that Hayes had no problem poking fun at religions until "South Park" took on Scientology in an episode last fall. Hayes is a Scientologist.

Hayes didn't return to voice the new episode, but there's widespread speculation that the mischievous Stone and Parker used creative editing of his voicing from past shows to fashion new dialogue.

Comedy Central on Tuesday began running promos of the episode that featured what appeared to be Hayes' voice.

According to the show's synopsis: "The town is jolted out of a case of the doldrums when Chef suddenly reappears. While Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman are thrilled to have their old friend back, they notice that something about Chef seems different. When Chef's strange behavior starts getting him in trouble, the boys pull out all the stops to save him."

The show's feud with Scientology heated up further last week when, a couple of days after Hayes' blast, a scheduled rerun of an episode skewering Scientology, and famous follower Tom Cruise, was pulled without notice. A blogger site reported that Cruise had used his clout to force the episode's removal, a charge Cruise's representative denied. The next day Parker and Stone issued a statement promising more to come.

Wednesday's show is the first of seven new "South Park" episodes.

OMG the premire tonight was awesome and the biggest payback to Issac Hayes for leaving. They really edited it and made is voice off it was funny like he would have these few word responses and he would keep repeating them over and over then the pitch of his voice would change in the middle of sentences. Then they made him join a group of child molesters and they made fun of Issac Hayes and scientology again then they killed off Chef at the end, and anybody who knows south park knows that they killed him off in the most over the top way by falling from a bridge onto jagged rocks landing onto a spike getting shot at and animals biting his face off and arms and legs.

This South Park was the ultimate payback to Issac Hayes and Scientology if its coming on later tonight tape it, because it may be removed.

PS: "South Park" fans have struck back, threatening to boycott Viacom's upcoming Tom Cruise flick "Mission: Impossible III" until Viacom's Comedy Central puts back on its schedule the show's Scientology spoof episode the network yanked last week.
