South Park or Family Guy?

I couldn't sleep last night so I ended up watching, "Cartman Sucks", "Snuke" and "Make Love, not Warcraft." I had to cover my mouth so I didn't wake my girl up with my laughing...and I saw each of those episodes no less than three times each prior.
Nothing has made me laugh as consistently as South Park has. For over a decade now.

South Park
South Park is the thinkers comedy. Family Guy is just offensive, slapstick type shit. There is always a reasoning or cause behind South Park. Family Guy is just jokes written on napkins drawn out for a cartoon. I love them both, although, American Dad has surpassed Family Guy IMO. It's a good mix of the two. You get your offensive humour with a touch of social commentary. I laugh out loud every time I watch it.
I was never a huge fan of Family Guy, it was alright.

You are so right. The early South Park was awesome, but the past few years have been truly pathetic.
grew up with family guy, plus family guy has so much random bullshit i can watch it again sooner and get more laughs. south park was only good for about 120 episodes, and i know all the jokes in the episode because they're so strongly tied to the plot. family guy (even though i don't care for the past 3 seasons that much) still has extra filler that i never remember until i watch it again. they really need to bring cleveland back tho....
Yeah, he was a good character on Family Guy, but The Cleveland show is just terrible.
Jokes in South Park are crap nowadays, the plots based on the boys lives were best but now the producers seem to just want to capitalise on any recent celebrity mishap and base the episode on that, the jokes are designed to just offend/push the boundry rather than be actually funny. e.g. picture of mohammed episode or the britney spears episode where she had half a face or even when steve irwin died, they just weren't funny
Not all bad but he was much better in family Guy, the other characters in The Cleveland Show are rubbish
