South Korean dies after 50 hours of playing computer games

Well, seems like gaming can ideed kill you.

For all those who don't, I'll sum it up:

A 28-year old south korean guy died after playing PC war games for 50 hours non stop in an internet cafe. He only took breaks for going to the bathroom and taking short naps on a provisional bed. Police said he died from exhaustion.

He quit his job a short time ago to have more time for gaming.

When he didn't come home as planned, his mother started searching for him. When colleagues found him at the internet cafe, he told them he wanted to finish "this very last game" and then return home. A few minutes after that, he died.

Bizarre.

You gotta start off with a few minutes of tetris and work your way up from there..

naw, i have played games for 30+ hours, civilization 3 was so addicting i bought it at around 4pm and played until 12 pm the day after next. so that is... 24+8+12 ummm calculator umm... 44! ha! that aint bad, didnt kill me, i went to the bathroom and ate, but was never away from the game for more then 15 minutes at a time

Starcraft? GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE Try playing halo or UT (old school UT...i keeps it gangsta) for 18 hours straight. You know starcraft is lame when it takes you 50 hours to croak. What the hell is so exciting about a 72 wraith/battlecruiser/carrier/darktemplar/[insert easily whored unit here] rush?
