Awesome game. Also almost completely lag free online compared to DBZ: Burst Limit which was absolutely horrible and a letdown on all points. Also Yoda and the Apprentice are incredibly fun to use. Can't wait for the Vader DLC to arrive....
i despise fighting games...the last one i probably played (if you classify it as a fighting game) Double Dragon in the arcade.
but as a FANBOY i had to rent this for yoda and vader!
maybe this will turn me onto fighting games
UGH !!!!!! VADER is only on the PS3 version.fuck this!
now i know why i have hated fighting games all these years.
i am bringing this game back tomorrow!
Last fighting game I played and liked was mortal kombat on the PS2 and even then only cause of the blood. Other than that I don't care much for fighting games. Maybe cause I suck worse at them than any other genre?
I've had a fun time with the create a fighter mode. I've created four so far: Red Sonja, Conan, Skeletor, and He-Man. I hope at some point (hopefully with the Darth Vader dlc) that they add lightsabers as dlc. I just wish they allowed me to add my own music to the stages rather than using the dashboard or downloading old Soul Calibur music (1200 microsoft points for old music?). I like to play "Battle of the Heroes" from Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith during the Star Wars stages.
this game kick's arse and like it or not there will be no vader for 360, like the last game in the series each console has it own speical player, xbox 360 = Yoda, PS3 = Vader, wow looks like no version out for the WII yet oh well, they had LINK last game which was cool.
To be fair Soul Calibur II had no way to add extra characters. It's always possible that Vader and Yoda could be added as dlc. If not then what is the extra space for?

Not to mention that Vader's data is actually already on the disc, and if you watch the little clips during the main menu, you can cleary see him fighting.
I bought it a few days ago as well.
It's awesome so far, much better than the regular martial arts games where there are no weapons. I still have a lot to learn though, kinda hard game.
Yoda is ass though, must uncomfortable character. And he can't be thrown, which sucks imo. The Apprentice is kinda nice though.
Also, the game has the bustiest girls of all, which just makes it even more enjoyable. Unlike DOA, the women of SC4 look good too.
I have played this game for like 60 hours, that is most time I have spent on any ps3 game to date, I love the SC series and will always buy the new games, except for the WII, that game blows.
