I first got "introduced" to Sophie with her famous webcam girl ass scene. I wasn't really that blown away by the scene itself because the background music was loud and I preferred to hear a model's voice clearly. But when she came up to the camera near the end and showed me that unforgettably lovely face and that mile-wide smile, I knew I was seeing someone special. She seemed to convey her soul at times.

One of her lesser-known videos was when she was "Mel" (Melisande) in the video from TeenFlood called "Mel and Tiff." You can find that video at that site, although I think they renamed the video, and also at one of the prominent sites that sells various clips. According to her interview for that video, in a very self-assured manner (that is sexy too), she mentioned that she lost her virginity in the back of a school bus and that this was pre-arranged and also filmed. She also stated that her friends were saying during that video that she would become a pornstar. A star was born, in the back of a bus!
The main reason I have this extra knowledge is that I love to collect beautiful-looking pornstars' works when the woman has other cool attributes to go with her looks. To know some extra things about such a woman makes me even more comfortable when watching her work (and play!). It adds to the intimacy and makes me interested in her life in general. I think Sophie is the type of person who can do whatever she wants in life, but also has a certain shyness, too, which may have hindered further "erotic success." In a number of her DreamGirls DVDs, she does not receive top billing. But perhaps that was how she wished it. I don't know. A very likable person.

One more post about Sophie. There is a rarely visited site called The Bellezza Video Forum that has a lot of extra little details about Sophie and other models. I have made a few minor recent posts there. Sophie was easily the frontrunner in the list of favorite models from the Bellezza studio.
I think the most esoteric finding in that forum about Sophie is that there was supposed to be a scene with Sophie and two other models, but nothing went right during the filming and the scene was never made available! Bellezza Volume 11. One of those models was Amber Chase. But subsequent to that, Sophie and Amber teamed up for a great "Cum Closer" scene. Amber now has the rights to the Bellezza videos. I joined her OF and made an offer to her to acquire a digital copy of Sophie's Bellezza Vol 1 scene, originally available in HD at the now-defunct Bellezza Video site. It has been fun to have at least the occasional success at finding rare videos at their highest quality. A collector mentality. Sophie is one of several of my favorites from that exciting online porn period of about 2000-2005 as the resolutions jumped from the hard-to-watch 240 to the easy-to-watch 720.

"I've found that my perspective is amazingly different, based on how I get on with the girls when the camera isn't rolling, how much stress was involved in getting the shoot together - but a big one for me is how personally attracted I am to the girls. I think the order I'd give might be a bit surprising, but based on my own level of arousal during the shoot - which means I was attracted, the chemistry was good and things were basically just going well - I would say:
1 - Sophie Strauss solo. She was so amazingly sexy that evening, and it was just the two of us there. A very intimate experience (minus the sex, of course). The lighting worked so well. I often go back to that one to see what I did, where I put lights, etc. because it came out so beautifully.
