I just started onlyfans yesterday. Well it is hard to manage it, but I am trying to do things and I guess I will keep it up and see what people have to say and learn along the way
Like Adam said above, if there's anything FreeOnes can do to help promote you and list you as a model, get in contact with him or myself and we'll get you sorted out. I personally do think the OnlyFans / ModelCentro route is the safest one for a model taking their first steps in all of this and in the longer run, depending on how long you choose to do it for, you may decide that route remains the best one for you.

Thank you, I will send you a message. I also appreciate all the compliments from everyone.

First, something that I've seen over the years. Your stage name. If you've used Polly Linko on ANYTHING that is attached to your real information, someone is going to find it. So make 5000000% sure that you keep everything separate. Use a new email for all of your sex work and never put anything that can connect you to your real life (outside of the actual legal paperwork you'll have to sign and provide ID for in order to use adult platforms or shoot scenes...).

Speaking of 2257 information. If ANY adult company fails to ask you for the proper 2257 info and sign model release documents do NOTHING for them. I don't care if they offer you 1 million dollars. Reputable companies ask for this information and keep it on file to be legal. While 2257 is a US law, if a foreign company has servers in the US they will comply. By all means ask how they store this info to make sure it stays secure.

If you're going to do custom videos, a 1 on 1 call on skype, or anything where you'll be paid off of a platform, make sure you ask for a deposit. There are time wasters and those that think that this should be free or cheap. Your time is valuable so make sure you cover yourself. If someone starts telling you that you're a horrible person for asking for a deposit to block the time or whatnot, don't listen to them. And speaking of getting paid, be aware that 90% of the payment platforms you can use as yourself in real life can't be used for sex work.

Paypal can only be used when you use a payment processor called Epoch. Most of the other money transfer sites will nuke you the second they figure out it's sex work. Go and open a completely separate bank account, at a totally different bank than your real life bank, and when they ask what you do you're a free lancer that creates content for youtube or an internet marketer. You're not an onlyfan girl, cam girl, etc, etc. It doesn't matter if you're in front of the camera or if you own the website with adult stuff on it... financial institutions hate us and will shut us down. Doubly and triply so the second you do ANYTHING with an american company or with USD.

So that leads to platforms like Onlyfans, Clips4Sale, Manyvids, Model Centro, etc. The bitching I always see from models is they take a huge percentage. Yes. However this means you're not having to program your own site or hire a developer. You're not having to do the paperwork and negotiation of a payment processing platform, doing compliance, making sure your chargebacks stay under 1%, paying the yearly visa/mastercard fees, nor are paying the processing fees. These platforms do enough volume to get a good percentage. You're going to pay 10-15% as a model nobody knows from Eve. These platforms also (usually) have traffic that can be sent through so people can discover you so you may have to do less traffic generation on your own. Some of them do affiliate management for you (like model centro). So yes, getting X% taken out of your pay sucks but trust me, to start up you're not going to save the 10-30% doing it on your own.

Oh, one last thing. If you want to post your stuff on here, become an Official Checked Star Model or OCSM. This means you can advertise your OnlyFans and other stuff, post pictures, and get a little more leeway than the rest. Just convo myself or @FreeOnes_Adam / @Steve-FreeOnes on how to get started.

I can message you now, I think before this option wasn't enabled
We have it so people have to have a certain amount of activity before we allow private messaging. This cuts out 90% of the spammers (we do have patient ones though) and it keeps guys from spamming OCSMs when they figure out they have females among the sausage fest. :cthulhu:

Thank you, I appreciate your answer. I thought I replied to you but I didn't. You are very helpful. At the same time what you write is very specific to the USA. Here things might be a bit different. And you are very right about time-wasters and negative attitudes

Skimmed this thread, so if someone's already said this, I apologise.

Look up the agencies yourself, check them out, find their contact details. May help in regards to seeing if they are genuine attempts to contact you.

If you do decide to contact any agency, don't send a picture of any other information, ask them if they contacted you, put all the effort of proof on them. Just like the bank contacting you, don't volunteer information. They contacted you, they should have information already and unless they're complete dicks should understand your caution.

No. This very much pertains to you no matter where you live. If whomever you deal with has traffic from the USA, servers in the USA, or uses the US Dollar, USA laws will keep coming back to bite you in the ass.

OnlyFans is a UK company with servers offshore. They were finally forced to follow 2257 a year or two ago because of visa/mastercard. I had a paypal business account that I created in the Netherlands, with my dutch passport but still had it closed after I accepted a referral payment from a dutch payment processor (got a porn site to use them).

Although I've probably no idea what I'm on about. I've only been doing this since 2007 and have been involved in some projects that blew up to a major proportion.

I'm from Slovenia and last week I've found an article about 18+ industry here. Didn't even image we have that. I contacted them and they replied that first of all I have to fill in the declaration of accession. Did that, sent to them and now I'm waiting for reply.

BTW, Polina, hope your wish will come true. Wish you a lot of business success.

Well I have contacted a company but seems it was shut down. Letter with application form wasn't picked up and phone number doesn't exist. Seems it's very difficult to become a pornstar in Slovenia if you don't know the right people.
