Socialist Hollande owns three homes

Socialist Hollande owns three homes on the Riviera

France's new Socialist president owns three holiday homes in the Riviera resort of Cannes, it emerged today.

Francois Hollande, 57, who “dislikes the rich” and wants to revolutionise his country with high taxes and an onslaught against bankers, is in fact hugely wealthy himself.

His assets were published today in the Official Journal, the gazette which contains verified information about France’s government.

To the undoubted embarrassment of the most Left-wing leader in Europe, and a man who styles himself as “Mr Normal”, they are valued at almost £1 million.

It will also reinforce accusations that Hollande is a “gauche caviar”, or “Left-wing caviar” — the Gallic equivalent of a champagne Socialist.

Among his other assets are three current accounts in French banks — two with global giant Société Générale and one with the Postal Bank.

Hey, so the guy bought a few properties with no money down. There's books out there that teach you how to do this and get cash in your pocket too. Don't you 2 socialists watch late night TV infomercials? This shit is done everyday in the USA.

Ok, he's quite wealthy. But there's a diference between having money and flaunting it to the faces of the millions of people having hard time working their asses of for minimum wages that will hardly be enough to provide the very necsary goods to their families.

Back in 2007, Sarkozy celebrated his victory with celebrities and business men in the Fouquet's, one of the finest and most expensive restaurant of Paris, located on the Champs Elysés.
Hollande celebrated it is Tulle, the city he' been deputy since 1997.

Back in 2007, Sarkozy immedietaly took some vacations on a friend's yacht
Hollande is actually working on the many problems he's gonna have to face and on his very first decisions as a President. He will have an official meeting with Angela Merkel (Chancelor of Germany) on May 12, a few hours after the official start of his presidency.

I don't mind if Hollande is rich or not. I want it not to spend my taxes money for nothing. I want the money to be spend very carefully and only for useful things. I'm fed up with the "bling-bling president".

You will be fed up when you will see your taxes raise and know that all the money of your taxes went to assist the unwilling to work parasites who are mostly coming from former french foreign colonies and who are only interesting taking in adavantage of our social system and leech everything they can. You must be very naive if you haven't understood that.
Also when it comes to manage and deal with European leaders, Hollande is totally inexperienced and is a fucking beginner, Merkel politely said to him that there won't be any renegociation of the pact. This president has absolutekly no legitimacy for me, he represents the unwilling to work parasites, the social cases and social help leechers, illegal aliens and all foreigners from the former french colonies but he doesn't represent me. Also by granting the right of vote to foreigners and authorizing the homosexual mariage, he ruins the values of France. People who have voted for Hollande better not be coming to cry behind my door if they are ruined in 3 or 4 years, because my response will be ruthless. I don't see things going better but far far worse. Carrefour a big retail chain is already planning to lay off 5000 people, axa is planning to lay off several people as well and the more we will go in time, the worse it will be.

I'm not naaive enough to say he's gonna solve every problem in a few weeks. But I'm not pessimistic enough to say everything is gonna be worst. All I say is "Wait & see".

Foreigners will be given the right to vote for their mayor and that's it. To me, granting this right to legal foreigners who have been in France for many years is not shocking. About the gay mariage you talk about ruining the values of France. Do I need to remind you one of it : Equality ? Do I need to remind your the very first article of the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen : Men are born and remain free and equal in rights.

Authorizing foreigners to vote will create more socialist voters and therefore more leechers of social helps and free healthcare, we absolutely don't need this. Equality never existed and won't exist, some are born more clever and richer than others. We have seen the what has given fourteen years of mitterandism, the worst. Socialism is the equal distribution of misery and the dumbing of the society. We can't afford to have ourselves the laxist and attentist "wait and see" strategy.

12 years of Chiracism + 5 years of Sarkozysm. When was the best period of these 17 years ? It was 1997-2002, the 5 years with socialist Jospin as prime minister.

People who were working in the public sectors have contributed far far less than those working in the private ones on teh economical plan. So and jopsin hasn't done anything to improve the situation and now with a bunch of turds including some ministers (Taubira and Boilaud-Blekacem) who are more representing muslims and people from the former french colonies, we will have it far far worse.

I love the way this guys posts contain facts & examples as opposed to opinions. More of this please, others could learn from this.

 Socialist doesn't necessarily mean parasite. There are plenty of hardworking Socialists.
People who were working in the public sectors have contributed far far less than those working in the private ones on teh economical plan.
While I'm not familiar with French economics, I am familiar with the level of truth in your posts and English economics.
When state services were handed over to private companies, the services immediately got worse and started to cost more.
Why is this? Because companies don't exist to provide a service, they exist to create wealth for their founders.
Example: After privatising the Job centre system which controls the hand-out of benefits and is responsible for stopping benefit fraud, many people unable to work due to physical incapacity are now denied their benefits, but many false claims got through the system.
One in five in fact. Why? Because the company gets a sum of money whenever it gets somebody back to work, the company would (falsely claim) to have returned a person to work when the person had in fact returned themselves to work. So we got from disorganised, ad-hoc benefit fraud commited by individuals who won't talk about it in order to stay below the radar, to organised en-masse benefit fraud by a company trusted with the system.
Conclusion: Government workers are better than giving the job to a company.
Good for him.

So a socialist can't own properties? People sure do like to conjure up myths, especially dumb people.

Or as ducky would've said it, Yup yup yup!

I`m positive to socialism!! I don`t care if he`s rich or not, at least he want to do an important job for France.

Hollande gets ridiculed in every country where he goes. You are out of your mind and now taxes will be rising because of 5 tax brackets:
annual income from 0 to 5963€ =0%
annual income from 5963 to 11896€ = 5.5%
annual income from 11896 to 26420€ =14%
annual income from 26420 to 70830€ =30%
annual income from 70830 an up =41%
And you think by taxing people the average class more, he will make things better? You have absolutely no knowledge of economics and you must be an unwilling to work person to think that socialism is good. But people who voted for Hollande better not be coming to cry to my door when they will have no more money , because I will answer them in a way, they will never forget. Hollande is representing mostly the welfare cases, the family of non working immigrants with numerous kids and the unwilling to work parasites, but certainly not the hard working citizens and certainly not the French people.
