So you've deleted your porn collection.....

Porn does take up a lot of space, thats why I deleted my collection. I did have up to about 40gigs though, I do REALLY miss that Pirates movie that was released last year though...

Years back when Windows 95 came out, I had an extra HD as "D" installed, had scanned some of my picture sets I had taken, just over 20gb., and the HD DIED, I just about had a Heart Attack!! Buy a 300gb External HD using the USB port, and put your pics & videos there, your tower or laptop will have plenty of space!!! Your CPU will run COOL!!! If a friend comes over that don't like that kind of stuff, just disconnect and put in a drawer till she leaves. People know what I have, it's what I do!!! Hope this helps you out, by the way, since Windows 95 came out, I've lost 3 Hard Drives, 2 Seagates, & 1 you can't spell or pronounce!!! Generic!!! Good Luck!!
P.S. If your worried about someone finding out, remember everyplace you go is logged in by a "Black Box" at your IP, with your computer IP#!!! BIG BROTHER KNOWS ALL !!!!!!

I think I'm the guy that watches too much porn. It gets ackward after a while because you become complacent with your current situation as a single person.

:dunno: i had 30 gb of porn on my laptop and someone broke in my house and stole my laptop, dvd player, and all my dvds!!

Aces&Jacks

Retired Mod
One day I decided that I was going to get rid of most of my porn collection because quite frankly, I have more porn than some major studios and websites. But even though I rarely even look at most of the crap that I have, I can't bring myself to do it. I always feel that as soon as I get rid of it, i'm going to need to reference it for some reason and it won't be there. Plus, all of the things i've done to make my collection more meaningful, such as databases i've created and programs i've written to access and analyze data, will all have been a waste.

The best scenario for me is to give it all away, including the databases and the programs. At least someone else might be able to make use of it all.

I have several drives in my computer, totalling several TBs now. Some are setup with RAID-10 (mirroring+stripe) for redundancy. Others are setup for RAID-0 (stripe-only) for "throw-away" performance. I put a lot of stuff I could care less about on the RAID-0 volume. All my good stuff goes on the RAID-10.

I remember deleting some of my collection a few times several years back, but I've just accepted who am I and what I do, especially since my wife always has. Then again, I'm not dropping loads to my collection, only using it for inspiration in writing erotica as well as enticing myself before I really drop my load -- with the wife in-person.

Aces & Jacks I'm about like you on this one, I'm allmost at 7,500,000. And still scanning and digitizing. My orders are if something would happen to me. Sell all with contracts, and destroy the rest!!! Pics, Negatives, HD's, ALL. It's a heck of thing to do, to destroy alot if they can't find the person, but I was trusted with it. So destroy it will be!!! Hey, how's your program coming along????

I used to have about 10-15 CDs full of downloaded porn and threw them all away a few weeks ago. May sound paranoid, but I thought "if I die tomorrow, maybe someone will check what is on those CDs". I also don't keep porn on my harddisk anymore. But I don't regret it.

:hatsoff: Jackson

i got a few disc's full of porn and quite a bit on my computer and that thought has come to me lots of times.

Hidden and encrypted volumes ...

I used to mount an encrypted volume on my desktop (I run Linux, which lets you do anything to data over the loopback device), but an error caused me to lose much of it a couple of years ago -- over 100GB (it was getting way too big so a data loss event was inevitable). I now just use a hidden software RAID-0 volume with a hidden configuration file that has to be manually setup and then mounted (a whole 2 commands).

But I still use an encrypted volume on my notebook, where I'm storing less than 10GB.

In all cases, I never run as my regular user account when it comes to porn. The only "initial glance" at my desktop that might peak someone's curiousity is they'd wonder why there is a user who has a home directory that doesn't exist -- although they probably might think it is NFS mounted and not an unconfigured, umounted local volume.

what the fuck you lookin at?
I did a couple times when I had dial up since the comp ran so damn slow. Also the occasional crash from viruses tends to fuck up the porn collection! But with DSL I don't have near as much on the harddrive as I used to. It's easily and quickly accessable online! I'm a recovering pornaholic...but I never tried to quit, sounds good though right?

the easy way to lost the porn is getting the HDD crash and your dvd's lend to somebody but never get back...all of my porn lost/deleted caused by HDD crash....so...new download again....ugh..my precious porn and time.....hm..
